As long as we as black people continue to show a lack of respect for one another, and not applaud each for our accomplishments we will NEVER rise as a people. Yet how come that same black life means absolutely nothing when it's another black person taking that life. Why because it's not national news it's still black lives lost some small children even. The violence went into the 100's in the mid 60's but basically turned for the worst in the 70's. One of the main problems was the drugs. The drugs changed everything.

Most inner city dwellers have never been fortunate to visit, let alone live in a city or town where everyone’s getting along or is mentally stable enough to at least pretend and not cross certain criminal lines. Cities and towns where doors can be left unlocked, keys left in cars, and kids can traverse the entire zip code on their bikes and make reputable, safe, and sane friends while doing so. These places exists everywhere in each state. Places where any spark of violence is extinguished with a diesel fuel fire retardant you’d find at a airport firehouse.
