Both forms have a big, huge backpack, but megakabuterimon has a nice, convenient shell to cover everything up. He's got very little kibble!

i had quite a few of these guys when i was a kid. this guy birdramon patamon and warp digivolving gabumon are all i remember having from season 1 but i had a big collection of them from the first 4 seasons. honestly i enjoyed him the most he was my favorite excluding the 4th season mix and match gimic

I wanted this girue so badly when I was a child. :D never managed to get it though. Tentomon/Kabuterimon/AtlurKabuterimon was one of my favourite digimons... Yes, I prefer the original name, which was also used in the Finnish dub, along with the original great Japanese soundtrack. But yeah, great review! This actually reminds me why I always wanted this: when compared to many other digivolving figures, Kabuterimon "mode" is among the very best, and Mega/AtlurKabuterimon... OH! Awesomeness.

Tends to be a trend with these figures were the second form looks better than the first- this figure and Birdramon/Garudamon exemplefy that. I think Patamon/Angemon breaks teh trend due to the shellformer-ness.

the main gripe i have with the digivolving figures from frontier and data squad is they no longer had the trading cards included with the figures. i can't find a geogreymon or rizegreymon card anywhere. and yes i searched ebay before typing this.

Over 10 years ago, they had a figure who could shift from one humanoid bug form to another humanoid bug form of a completely different design, and have both look right... using the same essential transformation as Universe Silverbolt. Epic Fail, Hasbro.
