The evolution figures were cool but to me the way they built them was almost like they were for pose-able decorations rather than playing with them and I hear they are making new ones as well but idk I feel like they should make more figures with articulation and a couple of special move accessories and stands and head and hand sculpts but it cost too much but I guy can dream.

Considering Digimon was first made in japan, the point of digivolution and the logic behind it go back to asian mythology, legends and historic beliefs. The fox, as well as the tanooki, were able to transform leaves into gold and them selves into humans. Often posing as priests in temples to watch people when they came to give offerings; the fox was also known as being mischievous and sly, often tricking humans into giving them what they want by either scaring them with transformations or tricking them into believing they are human and trapping them to encourage the victim to give what they want. This is why renamon: a fox, turns into Sakuyamon: A priest. Because they were said to be believed as gods and take on human appearance. For a more accurate explanation of asian history, check out the internet or your nearest library. This also explains a lot of other digimon, like why Saint Gaogomon has a crest of hope like seraphimon and why impmon became beezlemon.

Slender Mann I know, it was for the other guy as well. --- Digimon Logic 101, with your Host PsychoMax --- However digimon does have logic when you think about where it came from. Japan. Also digimon are made from data which is divided into 3 catagories: Data, Vaccine and Virus. These also represent the terms of real data that we have for computers these days. Data is basically data, no additional properties of qualities. Virus is what everyone knows: A form of data that is used to attack, replicate, remove and even replace data to fulfill a certain goal; often the goal is to destroy or gain access to protected files and areas of a computer to return to its master or die altogether. (like the suicide bomber or spy of the internet) The Vaccine is basically the Firewall of data: Used to combat viruses, it is often a form of protocol or designed to maintain the computer with back up and counter-attack issues to deal with viruses. Sometimes a form of patch or even just something simple like a "System Restore". And as such, their weaknesses come into affect as well. Data > Vaccine > Virus > Data. Virus attacks data. Data can reprogram and alter vaccine and vaccine counter-attacks virus. And there you go! One of the many clever forms of digimon logic. -------- Unlike pokemon (which I like as well), digimon has more realistic connections to our world and justified reasons; rather than just, its an animal and becomes another animal; fight and win. Digimon is coding that takes a form of its own. The best example of a real digimon is a robot!
