This was the first modern transformer I got when I started collecting again and he is still one of my favorites.

I swear, I had no intention of picking up this figure at all. The pictures and videos don't do this guy justice. When I saw him on the shelf, he was literally glowing his colors are so radiant. Very beautiful! I'm waaaay excited for the remold of this guy into Brainstorm because this mold is superb.

I got him roughly 4 years ago and he's the most adorable, the most articulated and the best toy I've ever had. I customised him and renamed him to "Raphael" (I did not repaint him, but glued the head to the body and removed the unnecessary parts, he doesn't transform). I still have his packaging kept in my closet up to now. Seriously speaking, the colours are wonderful and the face sculpt is so life-like. The mould is perfect and so is the material. I'm so grateful to my beloved uncle who got me this figure. Literally, it was one dream that came true.

It's entirely different. As Jetfire said, it's called shared engineering. It's the same thing with DOTM Roadbuster and AOE Lockdown. They transform very similarly but are completely different figures.
