I just got this figure today, and I love it, but I had the tabs in the wings. Had being the key word as I spent a good 30-45 minuets shaving them down and the figure is just fine without them, if not better. This is an amazing figure, and I love it.

No, Titans Return Optimus Prime's sword and gun are 2016 versions of the original G2 Laser Prime's weapons. RID Scourge had them, yeah - but only because he was a straight up repaint of Laser Prime. LP had 'em first.

They're doing the same thing with Voyager Optimus that they're going to do with Voyager Megatron, and what they did with Voyager Sentinel Prime. And that's release these molds first, then release the toy they're really going for later just to rack up sales because they know we'll buy Megatron and Optimus. They'll release the real toys that these molds were made for, Octane and Blitzwing, later. Just like they did when they released Astrotrain after Sentinel Prime.

There ARE jets with wings that short, but not the type this is supposed to be. Fighter jets have small wings like that but Octane (and Prime by extension) is based on a commercial passenger plane.

It's not supposed to be Black Convoy, but rather the G2 Laser Prime from 1995. But Black Conoy was a repaint of the Laser Prime mold, and actually appeared in a show so everybody only really remembers the mold from RiD. So like yeah, it'll work great as Black Convoy, but they weren't trying to make a Black Convoy

It's not you, all of my titan returns figures are loose as hell. My Sentinel Prime wasn't able to stand or hold his gun right out of the box. And i can't transform it in shuttle mode because the peg s on the legs don't hold on. So yeah, someone has to be fired at Hasbro's QC section.

The Optimus toy was designed with the understanding that it would later be repainted with a new head to be Octane, just like Megatron would be for Blitzwing and Sentinel Prime would be for Astrotrain. The one that caught everyone off guard was Alpha Trion being retooled into Broadside, which 1) no one really cared about and 2) had so many new parts it barely resembles A.T. outside of robot mode.

The TFCC version is WAY better IMO. The Generations mold just worked better and had a more... "acceptable" transformation, with the nose of the cab (instead of the windshield) becoming the shoulders.

Hello my friend. Firstly very nice video. Here in Greece the voyager class optimus is a new toy entry and I purchased him for 20 euros. I think that was a good deal but I have a question. Does he combine with other transformers from the voyager class ? I would like to combine him but I don't think that this figure can be something else except an optimus prime. Thanks in advance.
