good review, but here are a few note worth pointing out 1. this is major. Ebi Origami/DaiKai-Oh has a full array of lights and sounds in all modes except DaiKai Shinken-Oh, which you should probably display in a separate video. 2. you never actually have to remove the arms of Ebi Origami to transform in, just rotate them around 3. for DaiKai-Oh Nishi (fan mode), you fold the "horns" on its head all the way back hope this helps

Just as a heads up, the claws+light idea i think has something to do with the golden paint(or plastic) on the claws. Might be like they asorb the light and then use it as a wepon. Probably has nothing to do with the show, but would kinda explain it, dont ya think?

i think the last face is suppose t be a spear mode. if you look at the eyes it looks like two spears being throw at each other the megazord would be much better if the black circle from the face could be removed

The one thats mostly red is east and can use the lobster claws The green is west and for defense and use the fan The blue is south and has the swords The evil looking face is north and combines with the ika(squid)

Hey there, Baltmatrix. :P So, maybe this is a stupid question - and I"m asking it on a video from like eight years ago, but I'm wondering what's stopping you from moving the lobster feet down to touch the ground when he's in his animal mode. It looks like they both swing forward and backward on their joint, since they're moved backwards and forwards for different combos - is there some reason that wouldn't help to stabilize him a bit? I picked up ShinkenOh a long time ago, and I'm finally planning to go back and pick up the rest of the line now, so I'm just curious... I guess I"ll find out soon enough for myself, but just wondering if you had any insights on that.

the reason that he can hold disk's when he's a lobster is because it a attack

in Power Rangers Samurai, it's called the Clawzord. it made it's appearance in the episode where the rangers fought against a Niolock that had the ability to steal human souls and he steals the soul of the yellow ranger, and on her birthday no doubt. the gold ranger is tasked with powering up the Clawzord in order to get the monster back into the human world and they do and the episode ends with the rangers celebrating the yellow ranger's birthday. the two megazords don't combine until the Power Rangers Super Samurai.

Some sort of complain about that combined mode also, is that in super sentai/ power rangers mostly, the combined mode is like an upgrade of the first megazord, but this one looks like an upgrade to the DaikaiOh......

You don't have to take the arms off, all you have to do is rotate them down. And you're not switching the arms, if you were you'd be putting the arms on backwards. Basically, you're just taking the arms off and then putting them back on in the same spots they were before, only they're facing down instead of up. So essentially, you're just adding an extra step when it isn't needed. Other than that, though it was a good review.

...It's to hide the screw holes.... If you just fold the robot arms up into lobster mode, the screw holes are visible. If you take both arms off and put them on opposite sides, the screw holes remain hidden on the underside, which would then be visible on the front in his robot mode.
