Jacob Frye Since the joke was already made, I'll give you my experience. It has applications but don't go crazy with the every rod braid/leader. Tying direct to the lure is faster and there is less weak points to break under stress (there is no unbreakable knot). I recommend braid for those no stretch/high sensitivity applications like thick, nasty cover or long distance finesse presentations. Also, don't worry about fish seeing the line, presentation is more important since they are focused on the bait. If they are hungry, they will eat.
