This reminds me of when my cousins, siblings & I were all growing up together. Man you can’t get the old times back. Kinda sad but it’s comforting to remember it all the same.

It’s comforting when you know it wasn’t a dream, and thats how it really was. It’s extremely sad when you realize, that no matter how hard you try, you can never really give it to your children nowadays.

I use to say the same thing, but slow down and enjoy 13 while you can. I'm only 19, and I realized this once I turned 18. Don't get me wrong, I did things when I was 16 that I will look back on forever and smile, and I hope to make more memories like that when I'm 21, but I also had some of the greatest times in middle school when I was your age. And driving is great! Until your truck breaks down and youre late to school/work, but looking back, even that was a great time lol

@Bamaboy585 The lyrics are wrong in one place. At 03:23 it is "I want an old Wurly hummin'..." It is a reference to the mechanical humming sound of a Wurlitzer jukebox playing records. You may have gotten the lyrics off a lyrics site. Be aware, these sites copy each other, incorporate the deliberate mistakes that are inserted into the lyrics intentionally in order to avoid copyright strikes. These are, as near as I can tell, like the fake islands placed in maps by cartographers to prove who is copying their maps. But make no mistake, the lyrics are as I stated above. The reference is to a Wurlitzer.

Vacation didn't carry the burden of if your house would be broken into while you were gone. And family get togethers was mandatory and enough food on the table that it was hard to get to the food because there was food in the way.
