@@shintikas3722 hair carries energy...everything i had been through for 22 years, which was alot, I felt it leaving my body when I cut my hair. It's a feeling I cannot explain. When I started my locs it was not popular...everyone judged me and no one understood. I'm not sure if your just young and dumb or if you are a whole adult with life experience but your comment after asking a question was immature. I started my locs 22 years ago when I was a practicing the rastafarian religion...my hair was my covenant to God. The Nazarite vow is a temporary consecration done by both men and women to show their complete dedication, or commitment, to God. The vow, found in Numbers 6, states that during all the days of a person's oath of separation, no razor shall touch their head and the locks of their hair must grow long. The only reason I cut my hair is because I am on Methotrexate, which causes hair loss. If I wasn't going through health issues, I would NEVER have cut my hair. Saying some people should not have locs is a stupid comment when you don't know what you are talking about, why they had locs or why they cut them. It's actually a long story but the shorter version is I was already thinking about cutting them when i got into a scrap with a former loved one and they actually ripped a few of my locs out while I had them pinned to the ground. That night was a full moon, December 12th (repeating 12s), and the more research and thinking I did I felt like that event was a sign I needed to let them go. So i cut them that night. My hairline is fine though lol.
