That was an awesome day of bottom fishing out to sea on a specially calm day out to catch some of the best eating fish you can get.. A beautiful day which even included a welcome back out with an escort by those dolphins come on!.. Its good that you mentioned the taking of precautions because some may not know. The sea will always welcome you with love and open arms always, but it doesn't guarantee a return

I fish NE FL Atlantic. 40-60mi out most trips. We call the really big Beeliners Oceanliners and say "Praise Beezus!" when we catch one. Our "season" for red snapper here is 3 days per year IF THAT!!! There are thousands of them on every spot. One bonus here is we get giant Mangroves and Mutton and Trigger are open all year long and we catch some trash can lid trigs out in 160ft. Our Wahoo fishery is also very, very good. You remind me of a younger me haha.. I used to take my 21' CC 50 miles out to the ledge in 160ft solo quite often. Great content man. Keep up the good work!!

Save that yellow eye spot! I’m pretty sure around here those aren’t very common and are a very desirable species for table fair. I love your videos. Every one seems to be exactly my style of fishing. Got a 24’ sailfish but am a bit hesitant to go out that far yet but would definitely do it with a buddy boat. Let me know if you ever would like to do that.

I know I have said this before, but I really like that you are a meat fisherman. Trophies are nice, but an ice chest of bled fish is awesome. You should do some videos featuring how many ways you can cook fish you caught that day or from your freezer. It would make a great playlist. You can use video you've already edited.

Awesome quick half hour! How far out do you still see silt from the Mississippi? I've read that the fresh water plume from the Amazon reaches100-200 miles into the Atlantic. As for deep water fishing, we used to fish out of OBX..one time for golden tile fish, similar depth as your vid. The Capt. said "don't reel up your first hook up- wait for at least two". Well, my son who was a youngin at the time took his advice, but after reeling up 2 fish from that deep, he quit for about an hour...lol!😅 TY for the vid, especially the cooking!
@BamaSaltwater10 ай бұрын
Thanks! It's not too often we see the Mississippi River mud over this far east. Tons of rain this winter though and crazy currents. And for sure!!! Great way to ensure a multi hookup as long as the sharks aren't too bad ! Thank ya! I'm happy to share!

When you have strong wind and or current, you can direct your boat’s stern to the waves and just gear in reverse with the right motor. Since you only have one motor, you can tilt the steering wheel a little to the left and put in reverse to compensate. Takes some time to adapt but the line will always be straight
