Trie this for sashimi… Blend with a little water in a blender: - juice of 3 passion fruits - 1 tbs honey - 1 tbs olive oil - 1 tbs lime juice - 1 ts mustard - salt & pepper Pour the mixture over any fine sashimi fish with some fine onions and chili pepper.

I would love to come to back to Alabama. We fish a bit in Montana, mostly rainbows, browns and cut throats. The Big Horn River in South Central Montana is a Blue Ribbon trout destination. My guides in my family for the folks from the mid west, north east and south west. We got pre historic fish up north and in the Missouri River feeding into the Mississippi all the to the Gulf of Mexico. Recently, I met a young man that told he had lived and grew up in Mobile, Alabama on the water and fished daily. He asked if I had I enjoyed my time in Alabama. My response was what would a Montana boy not like about the people and country in Alabama. Great video I am glad I found it on KZbin. It is like a quick vacation. Thanks guys from Montana.

Steve, I spent two years in Japan while in the Marines, one in Okinawa and one in Iwakuni and have sampled a lot of their cuisine and never seen anything like what you made. It looked delicious! Also a Marine in Iwakuni was complaining of chest pain and it was thought that he was having a heart attack but it was discovered that he had a worm wrapped around his heart which was the result of eating raw tuna. How do you avoid that? I have eaten raw tuna without any problems, including raw octopus and other things when I was "over the limit" drinking beer with my Japanese friends but never had issues. Thanks for your great videos, as I look forward to them continually! Be safe!

I thought you had to freeze all sushi fish prior to eating (per the FDA). I guess Tuna and farmed Salmon might be exceptions.

I’ve had a Saltist 3000 MQ for about a year. Six weeks ago I was reeling in a 30 inch snook and the handle broke off about a half inch below where the knob attaches. A Daiwa rep replaced the handle with one off of one of his demo reels. Not really sure that was such a great deal for me. As this guy said in his video, this is my only expensive reel and it has been quite babied! I was dumbfounded when the knob broke off in my hand. Thankfully, the snook was pretty much landed on the beach so at least I got the fish! I’m not sure that I’ll buy another one though.

I'm sure I've missed your explanation in a prior video but please explain how you're able to make a 140+ mile trip with a 250 Yam? I've been 55 miles offshore in a 24' Key West /250 Yam and we had 3.2 gallons of gas left when we got back. Do you carry extra gas? And I have to say, doing 50+ mile offshore trips is a long, exhausting but usually productive day. I really have no desire to go 70 miles out. it's just to tiring, to much. unless it's in a large CC that can comfortably do say...35ish mph. Thanks for the videos, Bama Saltwater videos are one of my favorites on KZbin.
@unclee8936 Жыл бұрын
My 22’ Triton has a 225 Mercury 4 stroke with and I average around 3.6-3.8 mpg. I have a 80 gal fuel tank in boat so 140-150 miles round trip is no problem. We did 130 miles last weekend with 15-20 gallons to spare
@RH-qk5lt Жыл бұрын
@@unclee8936 Yeah, The numbers we had that day don't add up. After thinking this thru, I answered my own question, Steve has more than enough fuel to make this trip. We should've had more than enough too.... Certainly more than 3.2 gal left. The boat was a 24' 2017 Key West CC with a 250 Vmax. We went 55 miles out but the total distance from his house/dock out & back was 136. Electronics said it was only getting 2.2 mpg avg but even at that, it's only 61 gallons burned. He said he filled up before leaving, maybe he didn't?
