Great story B, that’s one beautiful bike, best of luck with it! I’m 62 & currently riding a 2014 GSX-R 750 Anniversary Edition & I absolutely love it, best bike I’ve ever owned, went from an 05, 07 to the 14. Mine is a keeper for life, I also have a Harley Superglide which is awesome too for obviously different reasons. The color of your bike is incredible and your passion, for it is intoxicating, I love seeing that, I’m looking forward to seeing what you do to it if anything, and stay safe out there! New sub here from Philadelphia

Its the best bang for the buck... But I would always choose the R1... that motor is sublime...

I bought a '24 GSXR 750 earlier this year and it is a fantastic bike. After doing some research I landed on the Suzuki for it's all around power, comfort, reliability and price. I have never owned a bike that had a fancy display or rider aids so I wasn't missing anything when I bought this bike and it doesn't bother me at all. I like the fact that it is just me and the bike without electronics. I have done some upgrades which has improved on the bike, such as a brembo master cylinder, braided lines, SBS pads, an M4 slip-on, Vortex rearsets, and a few aesthetic changes. I don't think I would trade it in for any other middleweight at the moment. Maybe the R9 someday, but for now it is great.

I have the 1000 2023 , awesome bike bought it brand new. I was in the market for a new r1, but the gsxr was a great deal and even the dealer recommended it over the r1 . I absolutely love my gsxr.

I have a 24 just like your and I’m impressed with the comfort and power of this bike. As for the BMW, I don’t know for myself but from what a lot of people are saying with reviews, there’s too many issues with them to be spending that much money on them. Though they are an incredible bike.

Great points on the dealership experience, the realities of liter bike power, and one's personal fitment on the machine. I would add that "comfort" can also mean that the Suzuki is NOT a nut roaster. This was the main complaint with my old R1 and 1098. Sure, I don't get as many looks or comments as the Ducati would bring. But, the GSXR1000 is a potent weapon that falls easily to hand and never fails to satisfy on the twisties. I would recommend the bike, to any experienced rider, on the merits of both capability and value.

That's definitely a sweet Gixxer. The 40th 10r puts me in the Wayback Machine in all the right ways. I ended up spending a couple grand on my 2012 10r instead of doing a new bike. Super happy with my choice. 1 it's still better than I am. 2 Nothing is coming to my mailbox.

I own a cbr650r, and now a bmw s1000rr, and i was very close to buying the gxsr 1000. Absolutely great bike they get way too much hate. Sure, they haven't updated the bike since 2012 or so. But it's still a wonderful bike.

I have the Triumph Speed Triple 1200rs with a BT tune, and they have adjusted the quickshifter in the tune. It definitely helps and makes more power. I would say if you could swing the money, the BMW S1000RR is the way to go the most comfortable and best electronics package. I bought the BMW S1000RR myself and have been so impressed it does everything well.

@@DB-sd3cw I've owned almost all the manufacturers and they all can have issues. I've had issues with Yamaha and Suzuki engine replacement under 500 miles on the Yamaha r1 covered under warranty and faulty ignition on the Suzuki. Sometimes with new model year bikes you will have that.

There's a feel to a motorcycle, it speaks to you, and there's one for everyone. The GSXR1000 is an iron first in a silk glove, or MMA fighter in an Armani suit kinda mentality. It fits you B (Lol)!

I agree. All of the liter bikes are badass. Well over the limit most of us can handle anyways. Gixxer's are always last on my list. Mine goes Aprilia, Kawasaki, Ducati, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki.

Still have my 2018 GSXR 1000R. Great bike! My other bike is a 2021 ZX 10R. I find the Suzuki to be a bit more comfortable riding position with more low end power. The Kawasaki has more top end power and a bit more updated tech. You can’t go wrong!!

Might be the lighting, but that color looks like more copper than red? Did you consider any Italian liter bike, like an Aprilia Tuono or Moto Guzzi V100? Having a local dealership that you're comfortable with can sometimes be the deciding factor, that's for sure...
@bmasontv
@bmasontv 23 сағат бұрын
@@bronzestarvue the lighting on this color will make it shift a little bit from a bronze looking red to almost orange. But the actual color is more of a deep red. As for the Italian bikes or any of the European bikes, I had a little bit of trepidation with the dealerships but more to the point it is just significantly more inconvenient for me to go to those establishments. I have parts of availability and accessibility within 10 to 20 minutes of where I live

@bmasontv
@bmasontv Күн бұрын
@royaltyallen1162 my out the door price may have nothing to do with what you end up paying. I paid MSRP but I did not pay for any Freight or any prep. Your area could have different tax rates and different fees that would be associated with the purchase. Also I had a very healthy trade-in which greatly reduced my tax liability. So getting into the numbers won't help you. your individual results will be based on where you live and what type of trade, if any you have. To find out what your cost will be on your motorcycle you need to get with your dealership and work out numbers locally
