I've had it for couple of years. Very good bike but not one for the thrill seekers I guess, but don't get it wrong, it's a fast bike.

I rode a F900 last year on loan whilst my bike was getting a firmware update. Liked the bike nice engine and handling but the standard screen was no good for me and no matter where I put the screen it blasted the wind full force into my helmet, I am a bit taller just over 6 foot. The performance is well suited to the road it does have a 3.6 seconds to 60 that really isn’t slow not sure why you would need faster.

It is a nice bike, I agree, the standard screen is not worth it. The MRA is the best I've used.

Nice commentary. I bought one in January and i am absolutely satisfied,the only change i made is wunderlich low seat and it was a win win change . The previous seat was the standard ,i am 175cm amd with the wunderlich seat i reach the ground with both feet flat. About the fire 🔥 you mentioned i think that the dynamic pro mode with the proper customization can give you some big balls of fire 😅! Enjoy sport touring!

Looking get this model XR, had a big off on my KTM 1290 SAS which was written off. Compression burst on my L1 lumbar which required pinning, but I'm up walking and on the mend, need to get back riding, albeit at a slower pace. I'm 5'7" short with a 28" inside leg. Not sure to order a new bike as a factory low build or wait and get one on a 23 or 24 plate hopefully bought as a low build. Doesn't seem many of them about! What inside leg are you? As I see you can almost flat foot the bike and a low build and std seat. Safe riding.

I’m glad you’re on the mend, it sounds like a horrendous experience. The factory low versions are indeed quite a bit rarer. As I mentioned in the video, I opted for the standard seat instead of the low seat just to give my leg a little more stretch. With the low seat, I was just about able to flat-foot, but as it is now, I’m careful to go slow when scooting around or backing up. For reference, I think I’m around a 28-inch inside leg. I hope your recovery continues to go well, and thank you for taking the time to comment.

which company are the engine bars? i bought the latest bike and i am not sure if we can install the engine bar with engine fairing we get in the new bike , also is it better to get engine bars or engine/pump protector

The bars are a cheap set from Ali express, from memory, as for bars vs. pump protection, IMO, the bars offer more protection over the protector only offering scratch resistance. However, anything is better than nothing.

@PratapaSiva I can't find the exact one, just do a search on there Web site. Look at the reviews before purchasing. You always take a chance with such sites IMO
