I've watched a couple of interviews since seeing them perform for the eurovision, I agree they do come across as a lovely, well rounded & so very eloquent. I just watched the late show where they went on without their full white face make up, in a beautiful black dress, to show people that they are just a normal person, they looked stunning! I think if people look into them a little bit & listen to their interviews they may feel a little differently. I think for some seeing them in the full stage attire, they (without realising some of the time) dehumanise them. Paganism, Wicca is a minority religion so people do what people do when they don't understand something, then witchcraft is attached to the plethora of story books & movies that have shaped a view & (lack of) understanding based on devil worshipping, the evil disrupting our society rather than people that just have a deep connection & understanding of nature & the universe, they believe in the power of the sun & the moon etc... Note: wiccans can perform witchcraft but not all witches are wiccan.

@@elendil_lehtinen Here in Ireland you'll do well to find anyone who thinks otherwise. It's not going down well at all. Ireland had a strong history in the competition, joint top winning it 7 times. What is annoying the people is that the competition has moved away from a music or song competition. It used to be about music and nothing else. Now it's about outrageous routines and distracting costumes to gain attention rather than music. And on top of that, in recent years it's about using the platform to make political points or lifestyle choices. I prefer to go back to the contests roots of being a song contest. Forget the theatrics and on-stage distractions, but close your eyes and listen to each song to hear the music itself. That's what should decide the best song - the actual music. Not the circus around the song. It's not a dance competition, costume competition or political rally. It is a song competition: The Eurovision SONG Contest. I'm just letting you know what the majority feeling on the ground seems to be here. Having said that, I myself genuinely wish her all the best. I hope she does well, not just for herself but all the fans that are supporting her. Good luck!
