I have an old i3 clone which has been great, but clearly I have not been keeping up with developments. That new printer is very impressive to watch! I look forward to seeing what you end up making with it!

Or you could have bought a few off shelve parts and with help of Klipper turn that ender into a monster 😅

The latest printers are very good indeed - but because of the speed of development there are still traps and hiccups that can cause problems and frustration. I invested in a Creality K1 Max which printed perfectly - until it didn't :-( the print head got blocked . To clear the blockage became a major problem for me as stripping the head involves a lot of screws (of differing sizes) and tiny plugs fitting into very awkward sockets etc. I have now invested in some improved print head parts from a non Creality source and peace once more reigns 🙂 The K1 Max is extremely quick and accurate and has enhanced my workshop immensely being more than three times faster than my original Anet 8 (with added enhancements) printer that I used for some years. Would I recommend some of the new printers to a beginner NO. They all have a learning curve.
