How To Draw GLITCH EFFECT (your eyes will hurt…)

Hi everyone! I see a lot of confused people and comments telling me I’m wrong about the primary colors. So let me explain: In the video I’m talking about the three ADDITIVE primary colors (which are red, green and blue) because we are talking about light. But when we would be talking about paint, then of course it’s not red, green and blue. Instead the primary colors would be magenta, cyan and yellow. (so it’s also not red, blue and yellow). We’re talking about the SUBTRACTIVE primary colors now. So the main difference is that light is additive, while paint is subtractive. If you mix all the colors of light, what do you end up with? White light. But if you mix all the colors of paint what color do you end up with? Black paint I hope this made sense ;)

You would do it as in his previous video. He’s right about light etc but he’s not working in light, he’s working with pens on paper so he should have called cyan, magenta and yellow the primary’s. If you’re doing it on white paper then you have to imagine that it’s a cyan, a magenta and a yellow version of the image overlapping. Where the cyan and magenta overlap, it’s blue. Where the magenta and yellow overlap, it’s red. Where the yellow and cyan overlap, it’s green and, where all three overlap, it’s black :) Hope that helps...
