How to Draw GLITCH Like a BOSS *glitch (font) tutorial*

Hi everyone! I see a lot of confused people and comments telling me I’m wrong about the primary colors. So let me explain: In the video I’m talking about the three ADDITIVE primary colors (which are red, green and blue) because we are talking about light. But when we would be talking about paint, then of course it’s not red, green and blue. Instead the primary colors would be magenta, cyan and yellow. (so it’s also not red, blue and yellow). We’re talking about the SUBTRACTIVE primary colors now. So the main difference is that light is additive, while paint is subtractive. If you mix all the colors of light, what do you end up with? White light. But if you mix all the colors of paint what color do you end up with? Black paint I hope this made sense ;)

If anyone wants to learn more about this concept but the word "glitch" is giving you bad results on google... that's because the specific term for this type of glitch is called a "channel shift," which refers to when the color channels in a CMYK composite image shift and bleed outside the defined/correct lines. This can happen to RGB images also, but the color shift is in red, green, and blue instead of cyan, magenta, and yellow.

Yes. The "glitch" colors are cyan, magenta, and yellow. At 4:29 there is a venn diagram of these three colors that show what new colors (red, green, and blue) are created by any of these overlapping. Screenshot that and it's all the reference you will need. Basically, anywhere that two of the original glitch colors overlap, you will use one of the new colors. Ex: When cyan and yellow overlap, the color will be green in that spot. Any time all three colors overlap is where you will have black. I hope that helped.

Heres a little tip when doing this type of work. Slightly shade or put a 'mark' to signal where your black colour will go. It made it alot easier for me to realize where I wanted each individual colour to be painted. Yes... I use Posca's.
