I don't get why some people are so against Ban and Elaine's love story just because of how Elaine looks. Some people just look a lot younger then they are. Pretty much my entire family always gets hudged as being at least 10 years younger then we are. Heck, my sister-in-law just turned 30 and she looks like she's in her late teens or early twenties. Also, it shouldn't be about how she looks, but her age. She's 1000 years old, way older then Ban, so if anything she's the questionable one.

Ban and Elaine was my favourite romance of the series, I kinda walked away from the series when they started adding “power levels” to it. But something I do like about the story was a lot of the relationships and romances and how it’s written that makes sense in the world it takes place in.

@@damianjohnson6935 No I can’t remember which chapter it was but for the anime I believe it was when season 3 started, when they began putting a literal number onto a character’s magic power, I like it better in a power system when a character is ether outclassed due to skill, experience or sometimes someone’s magic type is just a bad match up against another character’s, at least that’s what it was like in season one which I always enjoy, but they start implying that characters with the bigger number will most likely win I completely tune out because that’s always boring, and yes I’m not a fan of DBZ or Super mostly for those reasons.

I was very surprised that the Jericho didn't end up being Ban's Endgame since Anime always has the lovebrain obssessed girl that usually gets the guy in the end trope. NaruHina or SasuSaku for a popular example. What I love about this anime in particular is that it is fantasy, made up, fiction. I don't care how Meliodas looks, how Elaine looks, how King looks, etc. I just watched it for the plot and the romance. Mostly the romance and it was top-tier romance. Low-key now I'm kinda remembering Jericho as a character and why does she have to be a villain in the new sequel? Is she a spy?

To be fair if the story wasn't based on the Arthurian legend then Jericho would of end up with Ban, but Elaine was always end game cause they were married in king Arthur story and Lancelot was their kid I am sure they had another one as well I don't remember. I was shocked Meliodas & Elizabeth were characters too I don't really remember their story.

Not defending the author but to be fair, Elaine is a fairy and fairies are known to be small and have petite bodies. We seen King’s body type resembling that of a kid as well when he isn’t using his bigger form and he’s related to Elaine so this kinda proves that elaine was small to keep true to the size of the fairy race.i don’t think the author ever intended for Elaine to have a “questionable “ type of body and just bc it seems to look similiar to the size of a kid’s body frame doesn’t mean it is a kid, a lot of adult woman in Japan are pretty short around 1.5m to 1.6m, so their height is sometimes the same as a middle grade schooler so is their build too.as for the Lolita/shota stuff idk.but i just feel there could be some misinterpretation of the body types if it could be explained by the difference in body types that’s more common seen in Japan than in America or other western countries, some of Asian ppl can look really young and youthful while being an adult.i haven’t read 7ds in a long time but Elaine’s body type portrayal isn’t questionable but rather to keep true to how the fairies look in their world, and also symbolising her fragility compared to ban’s strong and big body also referencing the difference in their personalities. Meliodas and Elizabeth is tragic if you take away the.... unwanted aspects. A pair of lovers cursed by the gods to suffer for their love. The male cursed to live forever and woman cursed to be reborn after death yet the only cures are to either let the other go or fight the gods Gil and Margaret are a knight in service to a princess but is troubled by a jealous witch who keeps them apart of face suffering there are a lot of nice elements done in the romance so it's not typical boy meets girl
