A few lines wouldn’t entirely make sense in a regular music video. “Sometimes I wish I could die to settle my old dues”, is a reference to Ban’s immortality and the entire video basically recounts Ban and Elaine’s relationship, tons of lines sound great and make sense outside of and in the context of the show. It hits different but also hits the same if that makes any sense at all.
