@@ayoogorkhali9262 well i completely understand your perspective as i was also in the same belief as you were, but just try to understand from their perspective. they were discriminated when they called themselves indian nepali, by not only indians but also from we Nepalis from Nepal. so just imagine how it feels to be not accepted by neither Nepalis or Indians. The indian nepali people are in a difficult position, they are suffering from a identity crisis. tbh i agree that that indian nepali is a better term rather than indian gorkhali, but we Nepalese from Nepal have been discriminating them just for the fact that they called themselves Indian Nepali, so they chose a different term instead of Nepali, simple as that and that is completely understandle when we look from their perspective. Another thing, our identity will never be changed whether they refer to themselves as indian nepali or indian gorkhali, because at the end of the day, the history of gorkha will always lead to Nepal. Plus most of the Nepalis living in India have a real history of being Gorkhali soldiers who were taken to India by PNS and Brits, so they have complete right to refer to themselves as Gorkha. At the end of the day, my goal is to see a united Nepali people regardless of political boundary and to see us fighting I really feel bad. Just try to see things from their perspective dude. peace

As an Indian I feel the same tho I didn’t understand a word but I can feel you girl because I’m from Northeast India and the momo we get here and parts of further north like Ladakh and all is far different than Delhi and much more authentic tho not absolutely but it’s all influenced by nepali style. But idk in Delhi and some other places they put masala and idk what all…they keep experimenting with momo the layer is so stick 🫠 idk. Plus we are used to saying momo here and not momos so whenever I’m in Delhi and say bhaiya 1 plate momo he looks at me like I came from another planet 😂😭
