The song is about him being thankful of Cameroonians for welcoming him. Sam goes on commending popular Cameroonians artists aswell as different tribes. He also states his admiration of the late Cameroonian freedom fighter Ruben Umyobe, and at the end of the song he humbly bids the people of Cameroon a warm heartfelt farewell stating that, him and their bond is strong.
