I will never forget being not even 10 years old in the early 90s and watching Kanda Bongo Man at Nyayo Stadium in Kenya. Many years, as a student at Leicester University in England, I was going through a hard time. Walking in the city, I saw signs advertising Kanda Bongo Man in one of the clubs. I couldn’t believe it! Like a very distant memory has become alive and caught up with me. I took some housemates and it was such a great night. It wasn’t the packed Nyayo stadium, but probably 50 to 100 odd! When the night ended and they were parking up, I shouted: “Play Monie.” He heard me. The band returned to play Monie. Oh my goodness. My world. Like, dreams come true! Thank you Mr Kanda Bongo Man, for finding me on the other side of the world and being the soundtrack that made a young man very happy indeed .

When I was 10 years old, I was sitting with my Uncles wife, my Uncles wife farted and she had three children, which we were seated together, the kids started fighting over who farted in fear of accusing their mother, all along the mother just sat and didn't own up to farting, so the kids continued to fight, i was scared to tell farted, and instead said to her to stop the kids fighting, I was walking on street with my Uncles family, and he he had a child on his back, again his wife farted and the blamed the kids, she smacked the kids even though she was the one that farted, then i confronted her that she can't hit the kids for something she did then she apologised to me, but I told her dont apologize to me apologize to your children, I learnt that when someone is in a place of powe, the power gets into their head to the point where they think they are perfect this is shown by the mother snacking the kids even tho she was the one that farted, I'm sad to know that politicians in power and this woman are no different, they cause an issue and blame others for it, they cause the problem in the parliment to use racist language, now this language has seeped into the society and is causing violence on our streets, and they dont want to apologise that they caused, so now instead of apologising for causing it, they blame social for posting it, My friend Members of parliment. stop forcing your choices. in community everyone has a choice to get relationship with anyone they want doesn't matter if young or old So if against the person's choice you against human rights. men and women are free. there will be less violence to both of them. Even if it is your children they have their choices and you have your choices. If you you ouch you choices you are violenting him. We have to keep others rights. We have work hard on giving each their rights to stop the violence which causes problems to our children's and others. 😅 Excuse my English as it isn't my first language. The government constantly abusing the people not giving them enough rights has caused some of the public to turn into criminals themselves for example if a mother was to cook a meal for her children and then deny the food to them it would mean they'd have to defend for themselves by any means even if it means stealing. The mother cannot blame them for stealing because she put them in that position by denying them a basic necessity which was there for them. The government denies basic necessities which make some of the public turn to Crimimal activity for simple things. It causes stress and doing things which aren't good. If they can educate people and not to charge them. If they accept that rules are the wrong so they should accept and give people right. These things effect everyone because it causes a social and economic in balance. Sometimes attacking businesses and business owners which effect the people who rely on the business' services.people lack much money to buy necesties. It attached all business. The posters not being able to send letters. The business for telephone, saloons interested bars and others.
