Follow these easy steps to make them at home.
Ingredients you will need:
For Banana Flower Vada:
• 200 gm finely chopped banana flower
• 1 Raw Banana
• 1 medium onion - chopped
• 50 gmGarlic - chopped
• 30 gm Ginger - chopped
• 1green chilies - chopped
• salt as required
• oil for deep frying, as required
For hand pounded Tomato Chutney:
• 1 tomato chopped
• 70 gm Shallots
• 3 nos Red Chilli
• 4 cloves Garlic
Method:
• Clean Banana Flower and soak in turmeric and salt water for 10 minutes
• Once done, fine chop the banana flower
• Boil the raw banana, peel and mash the same
• Add chopped onion, ginger, garlic, green chilli and chopped banana flower to mash raw banana mixture
• Season the mixture as per taste with salt and pepper
• Shape into vadas or patties and deep fry till golden brown and serve
• For tomato chutney, hand pound all ingredients together till it forms smooth paste . Season and serve along with hot fried vadas
