Great video as always. Only played there once and managed a hole in one on the 8th after thinking I’d lost my ball 🤣 kept it quiet as wedding reception hosting around a 100 guests in club house. Could have been a costly round of drinks

Great tip John picking a spot just a few feet in front of your ball on the tee to line yourself up with. It’s ridiculous to look at a spot 200 yards away and line up with. I do the same thing on the green for my putts I pick a spot about 12 inches away . Learned that from Jack Nicklaus years ago….👍🏼👍🏼

Easy way to fix the scoring method. Obvs you (John) have your handicap, get Alex to hand in the scorecards and get his handicap. Each course you’ll know your course handicap and you can work out how many shots Alex gets for 9 holes. Then going by S.I assign his extra shots to the hardest holes. It’s more effort to do it this way however it would be a more consistently fair round between you both. Ps this works further down the line too, as your handicap is probs going to get better and comparing to Alex, who doesn’t play, Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday…………and Saturday 😂 Alex’s handicap is going to stay close to the same figure. So yeah would help keep it fair even as you get better. Just an idea, love the content already so it wouldn’t matter much, just a thought to maybe make it fairer…..happy golfing 🏌️‍♂️
