Hi Meliton, 15 points are already great! Congratulations. The word ศร is an arrow bolt (the stick to hold) while ลูกศร is an arrow that is shot out. ลูก in this case probably a product/part (child) of the arrow bolt (mama). :D

Great lesson. "luuk-om" gotta be the strangest term/vocab...can't think of an English equiv. "luuk chin" surprised I got. first thought was classifier, "chin" =pieces Kap kun na kap Kruu Smuk

I think you have the etymology of bpaak-ga (pen) wrong. I think it comes from the name of the American company “Parker”, which use to make a lot of pens. The “mouth of the crow” thing sounds like a “folk etymology” to me (in other words, a false etymology).

A syllable in Thai is พยางค์ (pa-yaang). A word might consist of one or more than one syllables that are pronounced. Such as the word 'beau-ti-ful' has 3 syllables.

I can imagine that. Our countries share many similarities. :) Street food in Thai is called อาหารข้างทาง aa-haan khaang-thaang

kwaay noi sounds cute but the correct one should be luuk-kwaai ka :)
