beautiful idea...very nice... petunia gets fungal infection with over watering and the coco peat at the bottom will increase chances of fungal infection as the bottom portion of soil especially coco peat will always remain wet, i guess

This is a lovely idea, i make Bromeliad towers using Ponga fern logs and tie the Broms to it with wire. they are awesome. Getting height into the garden is always a problem. I have seen a most awesome pyramid garden. on utube. but is big, like a raised garden, using timber lengths, but no nails or screws. My plan is to put the tower in a regular pot, say terracotta, lined with plastic. I will make the tower as per your very good instructions, but cut it in half so is not so tall for the pot. my question is re the watering pipe in the middle, would it need an enclosed bottom to stop the water just draining straight out, the holes in the pipe would be few, and around half way down the length of the pipe.???? I cant see how to make it work, !!!! but is a great idea, to ensure all the plants are watered.
