Bancroft mad flow v3 | 3s 4s stock

Do this at your own risk
This is the Bancroft/joysway mad flow v3 all stock except the for a .150 cable and stuffing tube. I also removed the stock plastic and bearing that supports the prop shaft with a brass sleeve. Running a 3s for the first run and a 4s on the second run. Any questions ask away. More to come. I'm actually quite impressed! The boat itself has much more speed loved in it, it just needs a bigger better powertrain I think that whole works very well thank you for the video

Does the stock esc support 4s? I have the Monster cat from joysway and it looks like it has the same esc and similiar motor. Mine has the issue with torque twisting. But I havent tinkered with flextube height yet though. Was thinking of getting the Madflow but it seems to be similiar to what I already have. Looking to get a TFL or something

It really depends on the prop but I believe you'll be fine because I even slapped a metal 36mm prop and the esc wasn't butt hurt at all. Just be sure to check Temps after two laps or 30 seconds.

HI OBI I AM HOODAT THATS (whodat ). IRONCLAD RC AND THE BOAT GANG HAS HELPED ME FOR A FEW YEARS NOW. MY MADFLOW IS VERY SPETIAL. P.S. I CANT SPELL. I REMOVED THE ESC AND MOTOR AND DROPED IN A ROCKET 2958 WITH A 70A ESC 2-6S. TRUST ME 4S IS LOTS. YOU MIGHT WANT TO GO TO A JOYSWAY HOBBY SHOP AND GET THE MOTOR THEY SELL FOR THE BULLET. THE NEW MOTOR WILL BOLT ON TO THE OLD ENGEN COOLING RAD. IT RUNS ON 4S AND I WOULD GET A 60A ESC. MY MADFLOW IS PAINTED LIKE RICHARD PETTYS STP CARS BLUE AND RED. I LIKE WHAT YOU DID WITH THE DRIVE TRAIN 4MM . YOU NEED A BETTER METAL PROP I HAVE A 2 AND 3 BLADE. GOT TO B MORE CARFULL EH!😂😂

If you swap the out runner style of motor to a regular brushless wouldn’t you lose the self righting ability?

Sorry for the late response. In this video the motor is a brushless outrunner. Also swapping the motor wouldn’t have any affect on the self righting since the weight of the said motor is in the center.

If you plan to run it stock on 3s you’ll be fine with the stock flex shaft otherwise you’ll need a .150 cable with a 4.7mm prop shaft (5mm in other words) go to offshoreelectrics.com. And you’ll find it there in the products section. They make it easy for you to find the right one. If you have any questions you should join the forum and they will be happy to answer any questions.

Don’t quite remember the esc amperage but definitely 3s. I did run it on 4s with stock prop and it ran okay.
