Live Maids are the Best Maids.... its like when you would listen to a Kiss or Rush album back in the day then go see them Live... an entirely different experience .. KIss for the show and Rush for the Musical talent... Band Maid blends both of those ingredients into a feast for the eyes and ears..... One more thing.. if you pay attention to the live performances you can pick up just how the band interacts and has fun on stage...Freedom is an excellent example of this .. there is an official Live version but also a different FanCam version with some Miku firing up the audience and then you just have to watch the rest kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKrEgGeHYq2mh6M

The ladies of Band Maid really do respect and adore each other, which certainly translates on stage. Seen plenty of egos on stage in the past. But these girls are more than just a band. It's like they're a sisterhood.

Band-Maid is about the most humble group of superstar rock musicians. They seem to understand what a miracle it is that they found each other, were able to form a band, were able to survive long enough the see success, were allowed the opportunity to grow and expand their talents, to expand and form an international fanbase, and not only play small clubs, but to play large arenas with some of their rock heroes (Slipknot, Guns-n-Roses, The Last Rockstars), and then be invited to Lollapalooza prior to ending their year at 17,000 seat Yokohama Arena. They refer to themselves as "A Miracle Band" - they never expected to last more than three years, no less ten and still be at the top of their game. I watched them play a club and then play a festival last May just before they went back to Japan for the Summer. That's when they were invited to Lollapalooza. They had not been expecting it. Then they were invited to play one of the aftershows. When they came back to the States in August you could tell by their performances that they were excited and it was dawning on them that things were really taking off.

I love showing people BAND-MAID. They start out seeing the maid outfits, and look at me with the kind of vague "Oh so you're a weeb" look, and then the ladies melt their faces. 10 of 10, would recommend.

They are INCREDIBLE live. I've seen them twice and was blown away both times. Do yourselves a favor and make sure to see them the first chance you get. Travel if you need to. They are worth it.

Band-Maid live are fantastic. If you watch fan cams of their US shows, the interaction sessions with the audience by Miku are immensely entertaining and an integral part of every show. If they ever come to Australia, the concert will be a "must see" (I remain hopeful. They haven't toured Europe yet, but we're closer!) Next recommended song is No God, from the Tokyo Garden concert in January this year. I have this on blu ray, and the production quality is superb. Link below. Thank you for your wonderful post. Bandmaid is a world class rock band. Lead guitar, bass, and drums are top-class performers. Bokaru & Duet are also great. The most important thing is that they give their best effort on any stage and have fun themselves. In this video, when the lead guitar and bass battle, the vocalist's expression of joy and enjoyment is the best.

What makes this cooler is that they played a midnight show the night before. So this was about 12 after that show was over. I was at both shows and I was exhausted the next day, I couldn’t believe how great they were both times….great job guys. My personal favorites are Blooming, Warning, and From Now On.

Every song that Band Maid does is excellent. They are the best live band I have ever seen. They love and live for performing before a live audience. To review more Band Maid material, I suggest you subscribe to Band Maid's KZbin channel. They do not block any of their videos (live or otherwise). To see the softer side of Band Maid, I suggest you react to "Daydreaming", the official music video. Then their more recently release official music video, "Memorable". Although these songs are not recorded on a live performance, they are never-the-less beautiful. There are so many of Maidiacs, who pull up a video on a daily basis to just get of our daily fix of their music.

Great reaction to a great 1,2 punch to the nuts! The energy of this band should be legendary, I looked , but didn't see in comments that the Maids did a 18 song set list show that ended after 1am the morning of this performance. I saw them in Minneapolis 2 days later and they tore down the sold out venue. 🤘

The heavy guitar bass action in the second song "Hate" is called "call and response" this is when typically 2 guitars trade riffs back and forth but in this case it was guitar and bass. Drums and bass are also a combo for call and response.

From a filming standpoint, the second song Hate? has one of the greatest crimes in live music history! A full 25 seconds of bass solo (before the bass and guitar battle), and whoever is mixing the video footage doesn't think to include even one second of footage of MISA, the one playing the damn solo?!?

Great reaction and even though it was around 37C and they were facing into the sun, they didn't let that slow them down, you can see them moving back into the shade at different times. They've said in an interview that it was the hottest day they have even performed at.

I feel like the audio on these two are better than a lot of outdoor festivals, especially on the first song. The videography on the other hand I thought really sucked. Until halfway through the second song when the solos became long the camera was almost never pointed where it should have been. The ladies were amazing as always though. Wish I could have been there. I see many great suggestions for more Band Maid songs here. Let me add a few of my own for you. Freedom -official live version. It has a drum solo that feeds perfectly into the guitar solo. Non-Fiction Days. Domination - official or live version, both are great. Don't You Tell Me - great and fun video. Unleash!!!!! - the official video. It combines regular video with Anime. Some of us like to call it Band Maid's "Fuck you Covid!" video. LOL. Watch, you'll see what we mean. Also, 2 slower, passionate songs. About Us and Memorable. Both of these are love songs written by the band for their fans. About Us was written during Covid after their big show at Nippon Budokan was cancelled due to the epidemic. Memorable was written (partially during the tour) to express how much the band appreciated the love shown to the band during the 2022 US tour. 🥲🥲💞 What band does this? Only one that I know of. Band Maid. Love your reactions. Keep up the good work!

The Misa ( Bass ) / Kanami ( Guitar ) Battle is just an extension in the Live Performance. Not on the Album Version. They always do such things ... Domination Live is another Example ( much much better Sound btw )

I am always surprised at MIKU's harmony singing along with playing electoronic guitar and its cord playing, which, as I was used to do the same thing like MIKU long days begore and knew it was very difficult for me, miku's perfomance is so difficult too and see MIKU's talent with Music playing sence.

Hi guys, I suggested this to you. Thank you for giving it a listen! If you want something softer and melodic try daydreaming, about us, memorable, anemone, or some miku songs like time or rock in me! She gets one song per album basically. By the way she founded the group in 2013. She used to work at a maid cafe and thought, maids and rock hell yeah! Btw she has never held a guitar yet, ever! She now thinks her vocals aren't good enough to sing with the kind of music she wants the band to play so she sets up an audition, thank you kubato we now have saiki the ice queen! Now they wanted another guitar to fill out the sound but miku didn't want another band member, so the only choice was saiki or miku. Ice queen, no chance! So miku decided to learn guitar in 2014 I think. Mincho her sensie or kanami has been her teacher ever since! This is not a corporate gathering, they found each other, and thank you for the first miracle I've discovered in a long time! Bm😂

Love that segue into Hate. I see lots of recommendations for you to try their live acoustic set. There are only two songs available on their YT channel from that 14 song set but they're both excellent - ‘SAYONAKIDORI’ (which means ‘Nightingale’ and translates, very beautifully as SA (small) YO (dawn/night) NAKI (singing) DORI (bird)). kzbin.info/www/bejne/qXjdcoSfnMZ_Z5Y and CATHARSIS - kzbin.info/www/bejne/qqmcmWdnnMaBpZI .
