I was watching this one from your original files since yesterday, and this is already one of my most valued Band-Maid recordings, specially the final part when they're all so happy and running and jumping around. Of course, the icing on the cake is when Kanami is "dragging" the "sixth Maid" on stage. So sweet...

Yes, many of them did not have trust in the BAND-MAID phenomenon at first. Akane did not want to join because she had a very bad experience with her previous all-girls band, CHAMY'S. And when Saiki, MISA and Miku were all late by half an hour to one of the rehearsals, she was telling Kanami, "Look, you have drawn me into this shit again." Upon hearing this rebuke, Kanami started crying. When the three missing maids finally appeared, they elected Akane to be the Leader of the Band, to give her formal power to kick their asses whenever needed. But then gradually their motivation grew when they saw that BAND-MAID is going from victory to victory. Now they have firm trust in each other, and obviously, feel like the fingers of one hand.

Hmm why aren’t they using wireless instruments?
@VladimirChupin2 жыл бұрын
Alan from Dicoded was explaining that it's not that easy. Wireless increases the delay, because the sound goes through a longer chain. It has to be digitized first, then processed digitally, and converted back to analogue. Saiki never uses wireless mic, even in Japan. Probably the delay is to big for her to keep with the rhythm of the song.

@@VladimirChupin I guess it has to do with what equipment your using, Princess Princess was wireless pretty much from the start in mid 1980s onstage(the transmitters are so huge on Kanako and Kaori!) ofcourse I know now B-M are wireless--it was also an expense and not really needed in small stages(they still could move around--tho techs are out there straightening cables a bit!) --anyway if you read this, am sharing this on Wave Potters reaction stream today--he had mentioned how great the 22 and 23 tours were, and since this is my fave fan-cam of those shows....
@VladimirChupin16 күн бұрын
@@gao1258 Oh... I recently heard a story about how Jason Newsted saved Pantera at one of the concerts. The radio at Dimebag Darrell's guitar was catching the police radio, and his tech was not able to do anything about it. And Dimebag said he won't go on stage with a cable. The concert was at risk of being delayed or cancelled, but then suddenly the tech of Jason Newsted appeared and said, "Here's Jason's radio, you can plug it in and use it." And so, Pantera's concert opened on time. Of course, such problems disappeared when the industry switched to digital protocols. But you know, they are pretty conservative in Japan, and it may be that the radio stage transmitters were still analogue well into the 2010s. BAND-MAID in Japan switched to wireless when, in 2018, if I remember correctly? And for overseas concerts, only in 2023.
