Puzzle is my favorite song... Hands down... It´s perfect. The lyrics, the change of paces, the different riffs, the "solos" and the feel to it, thanks to SAIKI´s voice. Kanami´s masterpiece!

No matter how many times I listen to these two versions, it always surprises me how different they seem to be, even though it's the same song. The regular version is one of my favorites of BM in general, but I just can't get over Kanami's voice in the acoustic version. So beautiful how the two complement each other and contribute to the mood. Both songs from this acoustic session always give me goosebumps.

Same song but very different feeling. It's about unrequited love. The regular version with Saiki spitting out the lyrics is about anger and obsession. The acoustic version is about loss and heartache.

Puzzle is one of my favorite Band Maid songs, the complexity and tone of the song plus the meaning of it is just incredible. Kanami shreds the entire song like one long solo. The acoustic version is simply wonderful and again Kanami impresses with her guitar work and beautiful backing voice.

The song they played immediately after this was an acoustic version of Anemone. And it’ll tear your heart up into little weepy pieces! Really, the emotional force she puts into it is formidable AF!💪🏻🤘🏻

I'll have to watch the Blu-ray again...did Saiki actually shed a tear singing Anemone?...seemed like it.
@bigbrutalbassbeer4103 жыл бұрын
@@philproffitt8363 At the end when she sings out, “I love you” ( in Japanese), it does appear that she’s unsuccessfully fighting with tears as she looks upward. Her voice is a little more raspy as well when she says “Arigato”.

Impossible for me to name a favorite BAND-MAID song but Puzzle is one of the 4 or 5 I could choose ( me ) from. Saiki's non stop ( no breathing ) singing, Miku's angel like backing vocals and the power of the song are the things I really like. Acoustically, it's 180 degree turn. Soft and simple but so full of emotion. Kanami's haunting backing vocals stand out, too.

Puzzle is in the Top 5 of Band Maid's songs imo.
@jacobusderottmann10003 жыл бұрын
And this is why I say that Saiki is queen of Japanese soul. She tears me up with this. The protagonist loves a guy who is with someone else and knows she will never have him, but can't help her overwhelming feelings. BTW, doing this also has the practical effect of not needing to put as much pressure on her voice for a while. And yeah, I loved this and would like an acoustic mini-set from these two more often.

Man If only they upload Puzzle in the official channel. This performance is such a masterpiece. Even the acoustic one is awesome. I wonder how long will we have to wait to hear Kanami sing again. Next album, there should be a song where Kanami and Misa sings with Miku playing lead and Saiki playing rhythm. It’d be epic! ;) Btw that guy in the crowd around 8:40 screaming “Mincho” like he wants to scream his life out cracked me up 🤣 I’d probably have done the same if I were there though.

It may be an important song that they have released 33 videos and do not release "Puzzle" or "Moratorium". I think they'll release somewhere they grow up. It's also important that there are hidden parts that aren't open to the public right now. I would like to resell the live video.

I can't understand the management of this band. Why don't they upload these wonderful lives videos back on their official channel? Especially knowing the corresponding original blu-ray is not available for a long time and is not reedited. This is nothing but a stupid marketing strategy.

For hard rock you may listen new Warning or old Rinne. Instrumental Onset is magnificent. I love Daydreaming, a rock ballad. Moratorium is a giant song. Domination and Freedom are more poppy and they are on YT freely. Secret my lips, Don’t tell me, Choose me, Dice, new songs Form Unseen world are awesome. Alone, I love this song. The list is VERY long.

Puzzle, YOLO kzbin.info/www/bejne/rXy9k62ZismMZ8k, Daydreaming kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHTEloihp66nr7s and a number of others are world-class masterpieces. Too bad no one (relatively speaking) knows about them. Band-Maid numbers should be in the tens of millions, if not higher. It's a complete mystery to me how people have moved away from mind, gut, and soul gripping rock... to cheezy, glitz & glam pop entertainers, industrial boy groups, and "I'm to cool for you" commercial hip-hop / rap crap. Maybe groups like Band-Maid, The Warning, Jinjer and others will once again ignite people's musical sensibilities back to where it should be - honest, rock-based, kick-ass music written from the heart that moves you. 🤘😎🤘 Thanks, Tyler, for covering Puzzle! Maybe check out Daydreaming next for their, imo, best written song to date.
