I witnessed this song at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo on Sept. 7 as 12th in the setlist. Band-Maid fans there had already known their skills and talents. When I heard that they played it as opening at Saitama Super Arena (as support to Guns N Roses) like they did at Aftershock, I was very proud of them. Yeah! they showed off their skills and talents to the audience who did not know who the girls in maid outfit on the stage were. I felt as if I heard them screaming "Hey guys! Listen to us and open your eyes wide! We are not the persons that you think ! Salute us!" 😄 Thanks again from B-M's homeland 有難う💛。

I saw them at a small venue in Phoenix, Arizona Oct 19th, only 500 people. You could feel the love between the band and their fans. If they ever play close to where you are DON’T MISS THEM. It was great that my daughter shared the fun with me. One of my favorite all time concert experiences.

To me this song is like a perfect storyline of an epic movie or a book where underdog is constantly struggling. Each guitar melody section descibe his efforts while rest of the instruments paint a background story. Drums are obsticales the "hero" overcomes, bass is a neutral observer, or his friend who gives him "the speach" when he's at his lowest, and the last melodic section (after bass solo section) is the perfect last struggle where he overcomes the everything and comes on top in the end. At the end then he remembers everything he went through and things he learned realizing all of this made him a better human, and then at the last moment he looks into the future and smiles. He would do all of it again.

interesting to compare the camera shots of Kanami's fingers at work and the shots of those same fingers in that good ol' gateway drug, Thrill. I know the lenses are probably different, and the camera angles certainly are -- Thrill from slightly above, making everything smaller, From Now On in approved rockstar mode, from slightly below, emphasizing strength. But there's something else, too .... is it that in Thrill she's demonstrating the speed and precision, while in this one that is so far beyond question that the movement is all about masterful economy?

I've never been able to shake the feeling that Kanami first wrote a lot of the principal pieces of this song on piano. I don't have the musical knowledge to tell you *why* I think that, just that a lot of the melodies have what seems to me like a piano-type quality to them.

Dear Champ mate! Greetings from under Mount Fuji on a grey making anything impossible to distinguish outside. A good time to listen to your reaction! I tend to think like Flugelhorn Old Man in Japan. Now that Miku is getting closer and closer technically to her mates (maids) the other three can at last open the gates. I am humbly certain it is only a beginning as their instrumentals are simply way above the other very talented bands in Japan. The classical education of three of them and the jazz education of two of them are finally coming to the fore. I am pretty sure that one day they will come with enough material to churn out a superb instrumental album for generations to emulate! You reactors are a very lucky lot! Looking forward to your next reaction! Best regards, Robert-Gilles (Martineau)

You mention feeling like you're flying - I want this song to be in the soundtrack of an anime reboot (or live-action adaptation) of something like Space Battleship Yamato or Captain Harlock, where the heroes are blazing through a giant space battle scene, and coming out vitorious at the other end. That sense of flying free, of blazing your own trail, of overcoming hardships and adversity (be it record labels, naysayers who think they're just a gimmick band, and all of the fears and struggles with Covid), and, ultimately, victory at the end, those are the emotions I get from this song, and I feel there's a high probability that those were what the band members were feeling while composing this song in preparation for the new album and, ulimately, their ability to burst forth on the stage once again with live tours.
