I love to hear what she's playing loud and clear, but I'm a bass player LOL Close to the stage on MISA's side, you are going to get a lot of sound directly from her bass rig. The Aguilar Tonehammer 500W rig is more powerful that the Orange rig she used before.

Thanks for sharing. I was about 3 people back of the stage dead center. I only recorded during sound check to fully take it all in. Nice to go back and relive the experience. To those complaining about the mix, it's just due to being recorded on a phone and being positioned directly in front of the Bass. Even right up on the stage, the mix sounded fantastic in person. I came in with high expectations and even those were blown away. Everyone was raving about this performance throughout the remainder of the festival.

After opening our pool; Rolling out an hour and a half before B-M start time; Parking and strolling right up to within a few feet of the stage with a fantastic view. Then watching this performance unfold. This was a fantastic day. I was totally shocked when I saw pictures from the stage as to just how many people were behind me.

Festival sets are usually about 30 mins for non headliners while the main acts get hour+.. Same thing at Rockville in Daytona. The rain delay worked for them. While some acts were canceled, BM was moved to a later slot just prior to that stage's closer which was Suicidal Tendencies. So many who would not of seen BM at their original time we able to see them.

The bass being overwhelming is a consequence of being too close to the stage, so that you're mainly just getting the sound from the stage amps. I was on Kanami's side, second row, and her guitar was much stronger there. Several rows back and toward the middle is where you'll get the best sound, because you'll get the full effect of the house speakers, which are projecting over your head when you're close to the stage.

I was in the third row pretty near here and I think the mix was better further back. As we moved up during the preceding band, you could distinctly hear when you moved past the output of the higher end speakers on the stage sides. Here the mix is heavy with the bass from the woofers lining the stage front.

@@stevehall5128 The Main PA speakers at any place are usually higher up and pointed out toward the audience, not the front row. So you get each individual Monitor stack instead. Stand in front of Misa and you get blasted by the Bass. Stand in front of Kanami and you'll get a face full of Guitar. And anywhere in the front and you miss the vocals.

Yeah, you're standing in front of Misa and her stack. Happened to me the first time I saw them too. (it had been YEARS since I went to a show prior to finding Band-Maid). Sound is better further back and more in the middle. The main PA will have the vocals, and so if you get too close to the front you miss out on them a bit. And Kanami's amps are on the right, so you being on the left leaves them out by a lot too. The problem with being a little bit back are all the people holding their phones overtop their heads and blocking your view.
