To me the true hero of this Song is the rythm guitar player. Miku Kobato! Aka The Pigeon! Granted. The other players. Kanami. Misa. Akane. Are musical geniuses! Basically they're Rush! Atleast as far as musicianship is concerned! But without Miku banging those root chords perfectly on time. Filling out the sound. The others couldn't do the things they do. She's Malcolm Young. Keith Richards! Just hanging and grooving. She is very good. Of course the other 3 are amazing! But she's hanging with the best and they appreciate and love her for what's she's bringing. As for Miku she's happy to be jamming with and accepted by 3 musical geniuses! PO!😊😎✌🤘

BAND-MAID played live more than 100 times a year in the early days of its formation. Saiki's throat got worse, polyps formed, and daily conversation became difficult. Their live performance lasted nearly two hours and a Saiki's break was taken. They have omajinai time and instrumental songs to make the break enjoyable for the audience. They have some great instrumental songs. They really care about their fans and members. And Saiki had her throat polyp removal surgery and now has an even better voice.

The ladies make sure Saiki gets to rest her voice. It stems back to when Saiki had throat surgery. They look after each other by adding breaks, instrumentals. What Kanami is doing is called tapping which I'm sure she learned from her love of santana
@andreaspedersen3952
@andreaspedersen3952 2 жыл бұрын
She might have picked up a thing or ten from Santana, but the tapping she picked up from Eddie Van Halen. Though she has credited Carlos for a great deal and have him as her main influence, she always loved to pick up things from other guitarists. There is also a reason why she wrote this on twitter, when she heard about his death: "Eddie Van Halen-sama… I got to know about tapping from your Eruption, and I have been writing instrumental songs hoping that one day I could create phrases like yours that pierce our hearts… You were a guitar hero I admire. May you rest in peace."

Kanami herself credits Eddie Van Halen for her learning about tapping, I think.

Thankyou , I thought with her love of the guitar and artists she loves she would have picked it up earlier or dabbled with it to see what see could get the guitar to play or sound like. If she says Eddie, then Eddie it is

I'm still a sad hat because I missed this live stream. It isn't easy to host them. It requires the skin of an alligator and the juggling skills of a circus clown. At least most of the Band-Maid fans are mellow like doves... or maybe pigeons. Just a little flappy but mostly harmless. Nicely done!

You are absolutely right. This is a conversation in the most universal and beautiful of all languages, which everyone can understand (if one just listens). And that these ladies speak this language better than a hell of a lot of people out there should no longer be debatable at the latest after this performance. :) _____________________ 【 _Our rock never dies ever. This is more at the level of the great 70's fusion bands. Normal rock bands can't dream of writing something like this, let alone being able to play it. But more love for Miku. She is backing vocals on songs with vocal, rhythm guitar, which some people overlook, and writes most of the songs. And she put the band together.

Great reaction Venice. I love watching reactions to ONSET-LIVE to watch the expressions people make. Because that's probably what I did over 100 listens ago. And to me this LIVE performance is f**king flawless. Band-Maid doesn't know the term fade-out. I wish they did. That would make the live versions even more dynamic. This is more proof that BAND-MAID is Awesome. Peace.

From your review, it seems that Miku should have stayed at the back of the stage with Saiki. This track is only possible because of the rock solid rhythm guitar playing from Miku throughout, yet no mention. She has worked so hard to become as good as she is and very few reactors ever credit her. There were four people on stage, even if you thought the rhythm guitar playing was 'Meh', say it, at least that would acknowledge she was there.

It was so hard to see that I missed Miku as well. But totally agree she is a remarkable vocalist and gets the job done at a high level with her guitar. Zemantis doesn't create a signature guitar for you if you suck.

To be fair, it is rather a lot to take in ;) Agree totally about Miku, tho'. That she learned it all on the job and in front of thousands of people just makes it that much more special. I suppose the fact that those thousands love her dearly helped. A bit.
