You can see why this video is perfect for an action anime. It's so fast-paced, I think it rivals the BPM's of "Black Hole". I hope Akane lets us know how fast it really was. I love that little interlude where MISA and MIKU solo. I also understand Mincho debuted her new signature PRS for the video, but the cutaways don't let the fans get a good look at it. I understand that the anime IS popular in France, so Saiki's "Ou la, la, la, la, las are perfect. I wonder is going to tour Europe (especially France) this fall and winter. I would love to hear what Ohrenje thinks about it.

It gets better with each listen. I sort of felt it was just Band-Maid by the numbers (not very inspired) but with each listen I'm picking up on more and more. This is good stuff and will be amazing live. Sometimes you have to warm up to a song and that was the case for me with this one. I also like that the solo wasn't super fast, I like when Kanami slows it down and plays more melodic. She can do anything.

It took me awhile to realize they used filters to change the color of their outfits to make it look darker/black at the beginning and then a bluish filter at the end.

Evidently, the anime series that this is for is very popular in France, so the Ooo Lala's are most likely purposeful.

Thanks Joel! Those la-la bookends kinda threw me at first, but with more listens, I realize that's a great way to set up all the grungy hard-hitting rock in between. And as usual, I'm picking out more stuff with each play, like what Kanami is playing outside the solos. Great stuff.

It's taking off fast on YT. It's the supreme anime theme because every time you hear it more detail emerges and it has at least three major earworms that stay with you until the next episode. The evidence is that it was miku's decision to head off to Pony Canyon (who also did a malmsteen album when he was in the wilderness so they know quality when they see it) mainly because they got total artistic freedom and guaranteed anime themes because as a company poncan is 50% anime across Asia. This is also why miku writes these great lyrics that don't rely on knowing Japanese. Poncan say "we want a theme for this new anime" miku goes to see the manga or other material and kanami goes to her mysterious file of ideas. It's obvious that it's a genre they adore as high energy is the number one requirement plus catchy elements. BTW kanami has a new PRS private stock called Torajima (Tiger stripes) with naturally tan and dark brown stripes in the wood. Being friends with Herman Li got her mind working I think. I'd love to see her with the PRS guys working out the details. She has yet to do a proper reveal, possibly because, like Herman it's currently a Beta. His cost 35k$. She's earned it and I don't expect she has a porsche.

This is a grower not a shower. That blast beat at the start was initially distracting but combined with the same beat at the end is the perfect bookends to the song. The second verse beat is awesome and the solo at half time is fire. Not a "greatest hits" song but it's definitely enjoyable.

This song has the strong middle-eastern / ethnic vibe in my opinion and packed with ideas. I understand that some people don't like their recent anime songs. I'm not that into anime songs either...but this one is interesting to me. That mini koto or Sitar breakdown after the first chorus is a nice touch, and Saiki's ascending vocal run (trill) has the middle-eastern flare as well imo. It's so tastefully done and yet I haven't seen many people mentioning it. I'm 100% sure Kanami has a lot of fun writing this song. I think French also has some cultural connection with Arabic/persian. It's interesting how you associated it with French. Love this song 😍

Nothing official about the new album release date. They just wrapped up recording a few days ago. I would expect a late summer/early fall release.
