Thank you for your insightful and heartfelt comments about the great song Shambles performed by the incredible Band-Maid. This band of young ladies has consistently produced excellent songs year after year with no hint of slowing down or becoming stale. Their music is always refreshing and vibrant which reflects their solid cohesion and tireless work ethic in perfecting their craft. What is simply stunning is that they continue to steadily improve by pushing themselves to exceed their already high standards of songwriting and performance. There is no one star in this group, but rather there are five musical superstars who all contribute to make up the best rock band on the planet.

I've heard the song a couple of times. It's really good, and it reminds me a bit of their earlier more straightforward stuff (except it's heavier). Great chorus too, and the solo rocks. Akane is great. She works for the song and not her ego (I agree with you... they all work for the song).

There's a lot of things from older songs in it I think. They comhined it all to make this catchy and heavy song. It is kinda reconnecting with the past, but with a better production and with their skills of today. A typical Band-Maid song. Love it. Makes me hungry for more.

I discovered Band-Maid during Covid and i kept seeing "The Best Hard Rock Band in the World " ! After listing to them a couple of years now i have to agree ! Someone said The Foo Fighters are way better . I do have all the FF CD's but i always keep returning to the Maids !

Wow, FF way better? I disagree as well. I think BM are more technically skilled. The rest is a matter of taste/preference? I also return more to BM than FF. Don't get me wrong, I like FF. But I think their albums are a hit or miss for me. I like The Colour And The Shape a lot for example, but some of the albums after that one not so much. I think BM are more consistant in what I like. but it's all a matter of taste. But, thank you for watching my video and commenting. I really appreciate it. 🤘

I think all this X is better than Y stuff is pointless. It's all a matter of personal taste IMO. PS: I like BM a lot and I don't even listen tomFF (nothing against FF... just not my cup of tea).

@@This-Is-Music in sense of what is true about it or not. That's correct Kim. If somehing is better is a kind of a weird sentence. Most of time would like to say I like this more or is more to my taste. How do we measure better is the question ofcourse? You can sense someone is skilled or not. But that is also hard. A musician can also hide the skills, by just go along with the ( non-technical) song. A lot of times it comes along with taste. I also see and hear a lot of times people react with this sucks. I often think why? Can you explain why then? Then they say, I don't like this music. Well, that's also thing of taste. Better is often used in the wrong way, but most of the time we understand in which direction it goes...taste or liking somehing more. I don't always feel the need to correct that if you know what I mean. But you are right ofcourse Kim.

@@WanderingSoulsWebzine Yeah, often people present their opinions and taste as if they were facts. There's a huge difference between saying "This sucks" and "I think this sucks", right?

Yes, Shambles is the Akane show with special guest stars Kanami, MISA, Saiki and Miku. But wait! Was it really the Kanami show, because she wrote the song and played it with such forcefulness and exquisite abandon. Or was it the MISA show because without MISA, the rapturous drive of the song would be a ride on four flat tires. Or was it the Saiki show because she focused the sonic chaos into a song with melodies that could express Miku's lyrics like no other singer could. Without Saiki, Shambles might sound like a familiar instrumental. Or was it the Miku show because, damn, she wrote the lyrics, played the important rhythm parts, and added her unique brand of backup vocals that have become a defining "sixth instrument" of Band-Maid. So exactly whose show was it? It was the Maid's show, as usual! 🤘🎀🤘

Nice reaction, at least you're taking some time to review this great track (better than all the 4-minute "me too" reactions over the last few days). Ouwe steenkoolboer, je Engels is net zo goed als het mijne. Let's hope Band-Maid is coming to Nederland next year, hope you live close enough so we can share the ride :-) Maybe we can get in touch... Nee, Mike Smith is niet mijn echte naam.

Dankjewel man!

Mooi man!!!!!

Ow ja, even schakelen..haha. Bedankt voor het volgen. Top!
