Aside from their having to wear Artic-level "Please Don't Let Me Freeze to Death" suits between takes on the wind-blown beach (look up the stills from the shoot), and Akane's dress catching on fire, it was a rather uneventful shoot.

Miku (red rose) the rhythm guitarist and lyricist was originally the singer, she decided her voice wasn't strong enough for this band and so Saiki was recruited for lead vocals. The band decided that either Saiki or Miku should learn to play, Saiki said no way so Miku stepped up and for a while the guitar was little more than a neclace while Kanami (lead guitar) taught her to play, Miku literally learned on the job whilst also fulfilling her role as second vocalist. She is now a very solid and confident rhythm player and acoustic player as well now.

It was during this time that a LOT of Band-Maid's sound came into existence. Since Miku couldn't really play very well, MISA took over and with her bass lines filled in where Miku was missing. Now Miku is easily one of the top 50 Live Rhythm guitarists, yet MISA STILL has her major bass tone and fills in all of their songs. It's been said by many, myself included that MISA plays "Lead Bass". If you ever have the opportunity to watch the Live Duel between MISA and Kanami in their song "Don't you tell ME" and the special bass intro to "Play" from their Studio Coast performance PLUS their Line Cube Shibuya performance, TAKE IT!!!! The talent and skills are out of this solar system.

Came across your channel earlier as i see you were doing Band Maid reactions and loving your Maidiac journey, all their songs are amazing but a favourite of mine is " don't you tell me " which i see you've not done yet Thought would suggest some more Japanese bands that you may not have had suggested Ironbunny-23 ( they have a cyborg guitar player.......well it is Japan) Ladybaby-Starless sky These are both all female pop/rock bands One Ok Rock is a amazing rock band ( boys this time ) and they do massive concerts have a look at the MVs for " We are " Live Ambitions Japan Dome snd the song " Taking off " from Nagisaen and you'll see what i mean And Lastly give Nemophila another go please 🙏 they are very talented but maybe Dissension was a bit too crazy , Life and Hypnosis are much softer, they also do amazing videos of classic rock cover songs by Bon Jovi , Iron Maiden , journey and AC/DC very cool 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻 Keep growing your channel and subscriber's and I'll be watching from down here in Australia 🇦🇺 😀

The Non-Fiction Days use to be their go-to closer. When the song ended, the Maids would give Miku her few seconds to say goodbye, bow, and then all quickly walk off stage. The crowd felt like they'd been run over by a speeding freight train of awesomeness. It all felt so good and the fans wanted more! But they were leaving... until next time! btw - I'm looking forward to when you two start using headphones. The music and performance will be greatly enhanced and that will affect your reaction and thus viewer appreciation. Thx, G&M!

Although they shine brightest live, their MV's are always excellent too. They always put a lot of hard work into making them, like this one, where they had to spend all day and into the night on a windswept and cold beach. Love the breakdown in this song.

There are some great stories about the making of this video, I'll see if I can remember them, ! it was very cold that day when this was filmed, the girls all had car coats on when not filming (car coats have a hood and go all the way to the ground), and apparently, Miku (red flower) was just freezing and was having a hard time taking the coat off for filming. In the night scene, the cameramen were wearing the car coats but they were still cold so they stood close to the fire to stay warm and at least one (maybe two) caught the coats on fire. I think this might be one of their most memorable mv's

The maids needs the flames to warm them since the day they shot the video was very chill, and also for esthetic reasons to. The flames obviously were it is gas torches.

They have bad luck with the weather in these outdoor MVs. It was freezing for this one, some behind the scenes photos show them in heavy winter coats between shoots. So they liked the fire on the beach. Similarly for "Warning!" where it snowed a little. In contrast, "influencer" was shot in 37 Celsius weather. I think "endless story" was only one with reasonable weather, it was filmed on a volcanic island south of Tokyo. The most recommended live is "Domination" from the Line Cube Shibuya show in 2020.

Six/seven years ago the B-M sound was punkier and the band hadn’t broken away from others writing the words and music yet. Miku was not the lyricist, and Kanami was not the composer on this one; Miku only contributed basic rhythm guitar at this stage. I am sure that, though ecologically unsound, safety experts monitored the flames. Wait until you react to the Warning MV from the Maids - real pyrotechnics there

If you liked this one try their other days songs, 'Before Yesterday' or 'Daydreaming'. The fire is near water. What's safer than that? and it's gas controlled. Are you against Clam Bakes too? I swear, the Health & Safety Regs have ruined Britain. Sometime fun is a little dangerous, but so worth it. Don't watch 'Warning'. You'll really freak out. And they do car about the enviroment. Watch 'Dragon Crys'.

It was very cold and Akane and Kanami both caught fire a bit when they got too close to the flames between takes trying to stay warm. Apparently Akane didn’t notice until Saiki yelled at her that she was on fire. No one was hurt.

Maids said that the filming of this MV at a windy cold day is the toughest one to date. They now can endure any tough situation because of this experience. According to Maids, the filming of Band-Maiko "secret MIKO lips" was the second toughest one. Third toughest one is the filming of "Warning!"...shirankedoh😏
