Band-Maid (Japan) and The Warning (Mexico), met at a festival in the US in 2022 and struck up a friendship. Fans of both suggested a musical collaboration, and this is it- Composed by Kanami (Lead guitar) and Miku Backing Vocals and Rhythm guitar) from Band-Maid. The 5 ladies- Vocals, lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar/backing vocals, Bass and Drums, in maid and black outfits are Band-Maid, the other 3- Lead vocals, bass and drums, are The Warning. Both bands play rock music. Band-Maid play melodic rock through to hard rock/metal and The Warning are more classic/hard rock.

They recorded this while The Warning was on tour in Japan just this past year. They even got to perform it together at a joint show. The Warning have also invited Band Maid to Mexico to collaborate on another song, maybe even in Spanish!

Hi Monica, you know The Warning, so this is your intro to Band-Maid. The Warning documented their time in Japan with Band-Maid in a Vlog. They became close friends working on the song together and performed first live on stage in Japan.

Great reaction and these two bands demonstrate what is great about female bands, no ego. They worked together to create this song so that everyone had a chance to shine. Both bands are extremely talented and are in control of their career. Since you know The Warning, you should check out Band-Maid.

I’ve watched “Show Them” 50 times now and still haven’t been able to drop my eyes down to the lyrics.🤘😂 Thx, Monica! Btw -- I was just thinking: Band-Maid and The Warning, two very different bands, found something that would bring them together -- music! If only the people of the world could find something that would bring them together. I know... if peace and prosperity isn't enough, how about uniting for the very survival of our species! 🤔

Bass is definitely easier to start with than guitar, but it might make your fingers hurt more. I'd also recommend trying an electric guitar, I find it easier to play than acoustic! Loved your reaction btw.

I don't know if you've ever listened to/listen to kpop, but I'd like to recommend listening to Stray Kids, Ateez, Blackpink, Enhypen, TXT, P1Harmony (and so many other talented groups) Unfortunately, kpop videos get blocked a lot on KZbin, but if you can I think you should definitely give it a shot! This song kinda feels like a BAND-MAID song with some The Warning sprinkled on top. I love both bands, so I guess it doesn't really matter, although, this is somewhere in the middle for me, as far as BAND-MAID songs go. I think "show them" isn't so much from their perspective, but like they're telling us, their fans, to show them, all the naysayers in our lives, that we can, and we will.
