Thanks again from Japan 有難う 💛。 I witnessed the live debut of this song 😍 that was played as the encore & finale of the special concert by Band-Maid & The Warning on June 12 in Roppongi, Tokyo . My seat was located on the 2nd floor but in the center meaning in front of the two drummers. I was in bliss! It looked to me that Paulina and Akane literally and happily competed like a duel to see which drummer can kick harder enough to break their bass drum in the joint performance. 🤣 (FYI : In the special concert, The Warning, who opened as the special guest, performed so powerful that the Maids were fired up to start their turn with fullest energy as the hostess band. It was fun like a kind of martial arts between two fighters respecting each other. 😄)

There are some amazing pictures of Ale (bassist for The Warning) and Misa (bassist for Band Maid) sitting together. They look like family. They were both shy and didn't really speak at first, but then they opened up and just absolutely connected. TWA thanking the Maids for this. ❤️🤘

Ale's been using the blue bass as her main for awhile now, she still uses her Ale's Inferno bass sometimes, too. Dany's blue PRS is the one she uses when she needs an alternate turning. Her Fireburst PRS is still her main, and is in standard tuning.

She started using the blue Spector when they released her signature line earlier this year. It’s the platform model but hers is a 5-string.

Ale uses 2 basses lately, her custom one which is red-orangish flames themed and the newest one is the blue one in this video. Dany has many PRS guitars, some Fenders, a Gibson, a Manson and so on. This was a great collaboration. There is a PRS interview with both Dany and Kanami talking about the guitars and this collab.

I believe Ale’s blue Spector is a gift from the same fan who gifted Ale both of her 4 string Spector’s she used to play. Ale debuted her blue bass at TW’s high production shows in Mexico last October. Ale still plays her Ale’s Inferno Spector on songs with drop tuning on the new album. Dany and Kanami are both signed PRS artists. Dany has a red PRS that’s very similar to Kanami’s as well as her blue one. Dany also plays Fender Strat baritone guitars on KMF drop tuned as well as her gifted Gibson and Manson guitars. I believe Pau’s kit is her black DW kit that is used for their European tours. She also has a newer white DW kit that I believe stays in NA and her practice DW kit that she uses in TW Cave. Some fans believe Pau still has her older Yamaha kit she used to play as well? She also plays rental kits occasionally when they don’t want to transport her drums for like one off shows. I think Dany and Ale having blue instruments is just a coincidence but works out nicely for the blue rose theme on KMF and does work also for color coordination onstage but Dany does change guitars quite frequently during a show for different tunings. The collab is fantastic and really highlights both bands nicely. Love the reaction!

Their choice of guitars is simply based on the sound they're going for. By the way, I was lucky enough to be at the show they did together in Tokyo. They really love and respect each other. Lots of hugging and high fiving at the end.

For collaboration Halestorm and The Warning! It is also the most likely with them being friends and fans of each other and going on tour together again this fall. Dany has had the blue PRS for a while now and Ale's favorite color is blue so no surprise why she got it. She is a Spector artist so of course it's also a Spector.

Daniela and Alejandra have had these guitars for some time, yes they are newer than the ones they showed in their GM masters interview about their instruments. Dany and Ale show their instruments in CHOKE, and these blue ones have been with them for a while now.

two things might contribute to actual instruments used for this. One would be suitability of the tuning of the instrument. However since this is a sound / visuals mix (thus the song is steady even though various members are outside or on different parts of the stage or singing without their instrument etc...) I'm inclined to think the instruments shown were also an (a)esthetic choice for a colour blend. Either way it is a terrific performance. Take Care David

Many years ago (5?), there were a lot of claims that TW and BM had a big hatefest between them. No matter how much TW and BM denied it, the more it seemed to continue. They said that one day, when they can catch up, they will and do something to prove they were fans of each other. There was rumors it wold be something musical, nobody knew it was going to be this good. Dany said in a PRS interview that next time BM would come to Mexico and Dany hinted it may be another collaboration and she would love to see it done in Spanish. while she showed that little cheeky smirk she does so well. 🤭

Yes, blue thunder is her base for standard tuning and her inferno is for the downtuned songs at least so far on the tour

The blue guitars have nothing to do with the blue rose , Dany has been using the blue prs for years and Ale has been using the blue for over a year . Just depend on song and tuning to which you will see

Love this band and I am a 100% follower of this band since I discovered them from the MTV Video Music Awards back in 2023. But come on guys, you still don't know their names after all this time? I know your names since day one! OB Dave & Ash, so these ladies' names are, Daniella or Dany (guitarist), Paulina or Pau (drummer), and Alejandra or A'le (bassist). You guys make a good couple and fun to watch, keep it up. I liked this collab video, but it was more focus on Band Made and very little on The Warning as far as playing the instruments, Pau won best Rock Drummer in 2023 by DRUMEO Drummers Association! This song sounds like half-half in every aspect. Band-Maid members have their own distinctive playing style, which of course is present in the collab, but I'm sure the Warning made their own arrangements, which is apparently more rock.

I don't think there is a blue rose reference here because this is technically a BAND-MAID song featuring The Warning and is not part of the Keep Me Fed album.

Not that I want to say, for example, that Dany "faced" 2 other guitars as well as another vocalist, but it's obvious to me, from the parts DPA had to play, that they were just the guests here. And I'll just say that to avoid being accused of expressing my opinions only because of my membership in the TWArmy. And I'll just add that it's also obvious that this piece was not created by TW due to its lack of a more powerful guitar riff, a more infectious chorus (the kind you can't get out of your head), or more outstanding harmonies. I mean, The Warning wouldn't release a song like this. IMHO. As always, the reaction from both of you was very entertaining and interesting. Thanks and greetings!! 🤘😁✌️

I agree with madsstavang. Band-Maid music is more rhythmically tricky and complex in general...and fun. Just see this as a quick side project. If they had had more time together, the song would have been different. At least I like this song more than the Warning songs in general.

I’m not very familiar with BAND-MAID’s music, but this doesn’t sound at all like a The Warning song. It sounds very much like the opening theme of an anime series, and just as forgettable. Cool that they did it, but definitely not my vibe. Don’t hate it but don’t like it either.

I agree with you. I'm a Band-Maid fan, and while Band-Maid do write anime music, it always have more layers and colours that makes the songs interesting for a non anime-song fan like me. It reminds me of their early music, written for them. Only thing which is distinctively Band-Maid is the arrangements for instruments. Not unique enough.

The song is good, the cooperation is great, but the mix between instruments and vocals is not so good. It's strange. The instrumental falls tonally far behind the vocals instead of it feels like a unit. The vocals are too dominant here. The volume of the instruments drops back. It doesn't seem like a unit to me. I hope for a well produced live version. Pau and Ale were also very far behind in comparison with their counterparts. At least visible in this video. For me, this is not a collaboration but a feature.

Maybe you haven't listened to enough Band-Maid. They played their instruments in their style, but of course it's different from the Warning's style. Band-Maid's music is usually more rhythmically and musically complex and fun in general, while the Warning plays serious rock compared to the Maids. When the Warning writes a collab song, they can write it in their style.

@@lurkmerchant None of this was the subject of my comment. I was talking about the mix. It's not about style and its differences. I'm talking purely about the technical aspect of how the song was mixed together in the studio. The rest was a comment on the division of the song so that each member of the respective band has equal parts to show their talents, which was not the case here. This makes the Warning just a feature for me and not a 50:50 partner as I expected.

@@TomTomson81 I'm sure they did their best. It sounds to me like a proper collab song compared to most others that sound pretty one-sided. The fact that they didn't have enough time working together on it plays a big part for the mix you talk about. The vocal is probably mixed intentionally high though because of the strong message it has. To me it sounds more like the Warning song, so their mutual fans probably will get into it.
