Very good selections, especially Bravura and Sons of the Brave. Thanks for this five video.

Good evening, Mike, thank you very much for this brilliant video, well filmed so clear and a good sound. The excellent H.Cavalry Band has played beautiful marches, always marching in rank of 6 are stunning! A great job, Mike, thanks for your efforts too. Have a nice evening😴

Thank you Alba. A lot of things worked very well today, and the band sounded very strong, which I like. And there were some favourite marches. I now need to get some rest and sleep (and no more coffee today!) - it's been a long day.

@james-u3x7i Thanks for your comments and appreciation James. It's (largely) been my pleasure, although I can't in all honesty say that all aspects of the train journeys have been pleasurable. Wishing you all the best over Christmas and the New Year.

Good afternoon, Mike. Good video as always. Thanks for capturing the salute at the Irish guard memorial. I saw my favorite lady spectator. Looks like she has a, “friend.”🤭

Thanks Charlotte, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I didn't see the lady spectator, but will have a look in more detail now at my and maybe others' videos and see what I can see.

@MikeM14-40 look around the :45 second mark. They are behind the guards then proceed up the sidewalk a bit. I caught them on Lenny’s video too

@MortenVikJohnsen Hello Morten, and thank you very much for pointing that out! I had not seen it, but now I've examined it in detail and can see it. I may be wrong, as it's not easy to see, but I think in the 3rd row (rank) what I can see, starting at the "blue" end and going towards the "red" end, is:- E-flat Tuba; Baritone Saxophone; Bass Clarinet; Euphonium; Bassoon; B-flat Tuba. There seem to have been some instrument and player changes since the last time I saw this particular band, but there's always something interesting to see and hear. Both the B-flat Tuba (larger than an E-flat Tuba) and the Baritone Saxophone are themselves sadly not very usual in British military bands when marching. For anyone interested, the Bass Clarinet has a black body, a silver-coloured tube to the mouthpiece, and a silver-coloured bell at the bottom which points upwards.

@@cathyb46 Hello Cathy, and thanks! It's always my pleasure to help with identifying the instruments - where I can see what's what and where it's within my knowledge or experience. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Whereabouts (roughly) are you in the north - are you in "brass banding" territory?
