The first 5 seconds of this video have absolutely amazing acoustics! Exactly what a military band should sound like. They play well regardless, but the first few seconds (as the kids say) hit hard.

Scott's Guards, luv their bagpipes, you also have welsh Guards, Brittish Guards, part n parcel of the UK... all a little different, but great .. you can tell who they are, by the colour plumes, in their bear skins, Irish have 💙 Welsh have 🤍 n 💚 , Coldstream Guards have ❤️

@@valerielewis853 No drum major today. At the front is a Drum Sergeant Welsh Guards, most likely Drum Sergeant Sam Potts.

@vickyRoyalHistory Vicky I congratulate you on a superb analysis of drum majors' flourishes. You would have loved DMaj Steve Staite. He had signature moves I've never seem replicated. But back to the problem at hand. You are likely correct on the DSgt being Beasley. I misread the brief view of the lace on his tunic as Welsh Guards (2 x 5 bands). Sam Potts was appointed drum major in 2021. But he has generally appeared as a drum sergeant, while the DMaj of 1WG has been DMaj Chris Rees. I've never seen a drum major flip back and forth between that appointment and that of DSgt before, as we see with Beasley and Potts. Perhaps new policies and procedures have been adopted. Again, brava!!

The Brits put everything into the music ,band also looking amazing😅😮😊, n I luv their hobnail boots ...my Dad used to polish them, make them spiffy, from his days in the war...miss you my dauhling Daddy, he had so many medals n ribbons...🎉❤ ☑️🥈🌹
