Coz we as Indians have high inferiority complex, which can't be treated until one can believe in oneself. Idk, Why do we pay so much attention to correct pronunciation rather than correct grammar? There are so many other accent in English than the British/English one like - American accent, African accent, Australian accent & Arabian accent etc (why haven't we accepted the Indian accent yet, even Google has recognized it). They don't give a damn while speaking Hindi or any other Indian language but we are so focused to speak English in English accent than our own. Inka bas chale to kal to ye Australian accent ko v galat batayenge.
