Great job. I also did a dome light, I kept all the wiring inside the head. I used a 3 volt battery holder with a built-in switch and installed it between the rear wall of the cockpit and the back of the head. I had to cut out some of the filler plastic and a small hole in the bottom of the head for the switch. If I need to change the battery I can remove the rear panel of the head. I also installed a wire through the hinge on the hatch so now you can open it to see inside. Really cool

Incredible build! Turned out very nice. I'm looking over and over this video because i'm building it myself too. I want it to look like this one, especially with the lighting inside. Very cool! I use Tamiya fine gray primer

Did you use Tamiya panel lining to bring out the details on the cockpit and base? Or is that just acrylic?

The walker itself looks really good if not perfect. Only downside is the base. the grains of sand is too large and the greenery is too artificially green and unnaturally clumpy. Great effort overall.

Not sure what part in particular you're asking about, but I primarily use Tamiya acrylic paints. Tamiya fine gray primer and then all Tamiya acrylic paints for detailing.
