You could take the tag off by heating the point where the tag is and then pulling, it keeps the hanger on it so after the review you could put it back in via the same method.

As THE leading authoroty in Bandai Vinyl Kiryu figures (Yes, I have them ALL) I can safely say without a shadow of a doubt... it Gud :)) - To be proper for a second, I'm glad its not juts a straight re-release of the OG theatre Exclusive version. The newly preoprtioned lower half looks really good, so good it actually makes the top half that wasn't changed look a tad... odd? Kiryu didn't skip leg day, he just spammed upper body if that makes sense. I think a full re-mold or not re-molding at all would have been better, not this 50/50 best of both worlds scenario. Again I do like it don't get me wrong, a definate marvel in terms of paint, size, detail and articulation, I just wish Bandai ether went all in, or didn't try at all if that makes sense.

My only real gripes about this figure was he was the only 8 inch figure to come out this Godzilla Store Exclusive wave. Also we him not being 6 inch and having that detail because otherwise it would've been the best looking 6 inch Kiryu on the market (The Evangelion color ones come second in that potentially wasted scenario). But yeah unless you're a long time collector actively collected the 8 inch line of figures (Be it from Godzilla Collection to the end of the first iteration of MMS), even then I would say maybe pick up the original Tokyo SoS theater exclusive Kiyru since not only its almost the same price in the aftermarket as this, but also and get this... HIS TAIL IS FULLY PAINTED (If I remember right).

It was a bit of a Hail Mary, random drop on Bandai’s part. To think they remolded and modified an older larger scales figure is mind blowing in and of itself, when they could’ve just repainted one of the 6inch releases. So maybe they’re just testing the waters for future releases of 8 inch figures. Might not be the last we see of it!

So honestly to me the thigh and calves seem a bit small. The waist and hips look fine, but the thighs are a little short and a little narrow I think

They’re pretty good, for what they are. Personally prefer the 8inch versions just because of the whole more paint and stuff, but the newer ones are still good!

I definitely think his lower half looks very disproportionate, the thighs are just too small in all directions. They’re too thin, too short, and because the shins and feet aren’t out of proportion, he looks like he’s wearing bell bottoms lol

When it comes to the exclusives, like this guy, you could either import them via the Japanese G-store and the buyee service. Or you can wait for them to come back into stock over at the US Godzilla and stick with that site for future exclusives. (It's cheaper) They might be a bit delayed, in posts but they still seem to be on top of bringing exclusives stateside. HobbyLink Japan is a good place to keep up with the newer non-exclusive released figures. They are still subject to higher shipping prices since they are technically imports. Showcase Daikaiju, Awesome Collector, and AmokTime Toy all seem to dabble with both non-exclusive and exclusive releases. They're imports either way, and prices will be a bit extra, but shipping will likely be much cheaper. Big Bad Toy Store is starting to carry both kinds a bit more frequently as well, and Amazon has a few of the reissues at MSRP for orders too. Hope this helped!
