I know this is kinda late but Godzilla Ultima is probably based/inspired upon a Yokai known as Bake Kujira. Bake Kujira is a Yokai that pretty much is a Ghostly White Whale Skeleton surrounded by Red Mist. There are also unnatural birds and fish following it around, which Rodan and his cohorts might be based on said birds.

I remember when the first promo image was released for this series a while ago, the simple drawing of Goji seen on the back the tag. The first thing I thought was "Oni". I even made a poll trying to get others to call him "Oni-goji" because I was so proud of the simple name, representing both his look and how it sorta sounded like Anigoji, our other animated Godzilla. I know it's Godzilla Ultima, but for simplicity I still call him Oni-goji

love these new vinyls! Godzilla just looks so big and powerful and i can tell that he's going to take over my shelf, but i feel the arms are positioned in a weird way, his arms do be lookin like me tryna talk to my crush, and a bit of a red glitter around him would be really cool kind of like the filius figure. But anyways i'll finally get my first ever Jet Jaguar figure! I love the design of JJ and all of the other kaiju in singular point i truly love them all. I can't wait to get these guys! And also for those paint speckels on JJ's face try using nail polish remover, that's what i usually do with messy Bandai MMS paints

After seeing the latest trailer for G:SP, I have to say that I've fallen head over heels for the new Goji design. I was on the fence after seeing the concept art and initial pictures of the figure, but seeing it in action completely erased my worries. It's the same way with Jet Jaguar, I mean I think we all held our breath for a moment when the design was revealed, but I've definitely come to appreciate the charm of his new design as time goes on. I can't wait to unravel the secrets of this new show, it definitely seems like an interesting watch. Toho sure is taking Godzilla into an interesting direction. Nice video, man!

Glad ya liked it man! Singular Point tho, man oh man, it's the major Showa Era Remix in Anime Format, I'm loving what's being teased! I think Toho learned from the Trilogy, no rushing, more freedom, dont forget what was, remake what was, make it fun, new, colorful, bring new life to all things! And these 3 trailers have ABSOLUTELY captured that! I got a feeling we have a masterpiece on our hands! -- As for Goji & Jet --- I think we all knew that Jet's design wasn't permanent, much as i like it. Him being the clear main focus mean's he's gonna go through some changes & boy does trailer 3 prove that!! Godzilla on the other hand..... WOOF.... man's looks terrifying! Cannot wait to see what he does, what his connection to the red mist is and beyond!!

Great review...im.still a bit ify on the designs but this review has warmed me up to them a bit more..just wish that Bandai would pay more attention to detail like they use to back in the day with the exception of last year's Gamera 95 which was awesome as well as Shin Ultraman..but the G figs have been lacking..this G is nice but i think the redish shadding on the veins would have bumped it up a notch..ordered these both today and the kong as well.ill surely be watching your review on Kong..great job as always.

Feels like they went a little in the Gundam Direction with Jet Jaguar xD so maybe if there is going to be a Season 2 we could get a Full on Upgrade with him which would be nice but the First Season has yet to be on Netflix(why does it have to come out in the End of June....why not at the beginning...) But man i'm hyped for it saw the First Scene of Ultima in Action....and i love it...He really feels like a Continuation of Shin Godzilla while being his own thing....does that make sense? xD And i believe a SHMA Ultima G might come sooner than we thought since tamashii is about to drop some news the next few days....although Ultima ended up being my favourite Big G after his Epic Scene i still wish for Final Wars SHMA Goji

Nothing really happens, might be a wee hole in the figure if ya yank it out incorrectly, but that's about it. You can do whatever ya want with the figures and tags, i just choose to keep em on and sleeved is all!
