Bandana patchwork pants TUTORIAL!

This is a tutorial on how to make basic patchwork pants! This is the same process I use to make my patchwork sweats, but I tried it out with bandanas this time! This is beginner friendly and a great tutorial for someone who’s never made pants before. This is a super basic pattern but it can be altered for more experienced seamstresses as well!

How can any one not have pockets!?!?😂…. Love my pockets!… I have a ton of Bandanas left over from a quilt I made. Cannot wait to make this, probably will TRY and make a loose overall type of pants with bib in front and just long ties from the back waist to criss cross and then tie through the button holes at the top of bibs, Will make your pants first for practice. Please show a cover stitch?… That is a new word to me. thank you! ( just found and subscribed to your channel!) …I do have an older serger, …That I mostly use to serge raw edges on towels and other utility type items. I Make a lot of bigger wash cloths etc. that are two layers sewed together from old towels, for bathing my animals, donating to animal shelters …also good and soft for non scratch heavy cleaning, on painted surfaces, like cars, bathrooms. Walls etc. …I do not know much else, about sergers,other than the basic no ravel type seams, …as it was a used machine that was gifted to me, years ago with no instructions( My friend got a new one👍🤓) Again,Thank you… as I am quite old but still love learning new things.

Hi! A coverstitch machine is the machine that hems most items! If you take a look at your basic T shirt sleeves, where there are two rows of straight stitches on the front and then the back almost looks serged, that’s a coverstitch! Coverstitch machines kind of look like sergers but they’re mostly for hems!
