Dear viewers, this post is meant to answer some of your questions. Before that, this video is incomplete if I don't want to tell you some more historical information. The first train from Howrah to Hooghly was launched on 15 August 1854, and eight years later in 1862, the Sealdah to Kushtia rail link began. The railway connection between the western and eastern banks of the Ganges began in 1887 through the Jubilee Rail Bridge.
Naihati in Sealdah Division with the important railway station Bandel of Howrah Division through the Jubilee Rail Bridge which connects Hooghly and North 24 districts.
A single rail track is constructed from Garifa railway station on the Naihati and Bandel branch. The railway was connected to the Sealdah to Kushtia connecting railway at Kumaragram. I gave one more information, the current name of Kumaragram is Halisahar.
According to a source, the British rulers built this railway for the administrative and commercial needs of the British along with the repair of railway engines and railway carriages running on the Howrah railway line.
As during the Second World War, the Nashipur railway bridge in Murshidabad district was destroyed, cutting off all communications. It is assumed that this railway also closes for the same reason.
According to another information, the importance of Halisahar and Bandel Bypass decreased due to the construction of Lilua Railway Workshop in 1900, because of which this railway route was no longer used.
A few decades have passed since then, today's Indian railways are much improved, wrapped in the cloak of modernity, the speed of trains has increased and the importance of goods transportation has increased, all these reasons require alternative routes.
In 2018, the railway authority relaunched the Bandel Halisahar Bypass. It was a matter of enthusiasm for the common citizens that passenger trains could run on this route. But, the railway department has been using this railway only for the transportation of goods. However, during the Corona epidemic in 2020, special trains were run on this railway route to bring back migrant workers from Nadia and Murshidabad districts. That train reaches Baharampur via Bhubaneswar, Kharagpur, Adra, Asansol, Burdwan via Bandel Halisahar Bypass Railway.

Dada naihati - bandel ঘণ্টায় 1 টা চালিয়েই তাতে প্যাসেঞ্জার হয়না সেইরকম এরপর যদি রানাঘাট থেকে চালায় তাতে প্যাসেঞ্জার আর ও কম হবে.যদি passenger হতো তাহলে আমাদের কে এই নিয়েই ভাবতে হতো না. Kalyani to Bandel ইজিলি চালানো হয় এখন.

রানঘাট ব্যান্ডেল ট্রেন চলবে। ঘটা করে কবছর আগে উদ্বোধন হয়ে আজও প্যাসেঞ্জার ট্রেন চালু হল না। শুনলাম গুডস্ ট্রেন চলে।

জি আর পি আর আর পি এফ এর চাপ বেশি মাঝ খান থেকে ভিডিও ফটো এমন কি মোবাইল, ক্যামেরা সব বাজেয়াপ্ত না হয়ে যায়। ইতিমধ্যে একজন বাংলাদেশ এর উপহারের জন্য ডিজেল লোকো গুলো রাখা আছে তার ভিডিও করতে গিয়ে সমস্যায় পড়েছে। তবুও চেষ্টা করবো 🙏 তবে আগামী এপিসোড যেখানে রানাঘাট এর গল্প থাকবে
