@@_G.C I mean, they showed a much better graphics during the test, then a worse one even with max setting on release. If the purpose is not to make easier access for low spec devices then I don't know what are they thinking. And yes, even now the game's graphics may look good but the animation are just wonky. Flashing objects, missing transition animation to create the fluidity of the original pixel art, lack luster effect (especially the explosion) ... They did fix some animation compare to the cbt, though (iirc, the Metal Rear vulcan was clipped into its hull and now it looks normal) so I hope we can wait for them to improve later.

Seriously go look at footage of like green hill classic in that game and you'll see what I mean, because not only does it look unnatural but it just turns it into easy mode

No se, como que no me convence del todo, si se ve muy bonito no lo niego pero solo eso, osea recuerdan como eran los jefes? que te mataban cada ratito si no tenias cuidado, eso te metia diversión en el juego, ejemplo el Boss del Super Metal Slug ese te llegaba hasta el otro lado de la pantalla y si no brincabas en el momento te aplastaba, en este no, con quedarte hasta la otra orilla no te llega sus ataques

me pasa lo mismo los tres primeros juegos era precisión, recordar los patrones del juego y por supuesto los jefes si que eran un reto criminal. después de la tercera entrega ya no anime a jugarlos con excepción la 5. esta nueva entrega se me hizo un juego netamente para niños menores de 7 su dificultad del juego decepcionante no hay reto, la animación en mi punto de vista es básico no impresiona por lo menos cuando derrotas al jefe, como puede ser que en pixeles impresiona mas que en 3D? hasta te da la sensación de que valió la pena de tanto gasto de fichas.

Todos los Metal Slug han tenido sus truquitos y formas de pasarse, no son juegos completamente Kaizo, incluso los antiguos, los cuales, como eran de Arcade, estaban diseñados para ser absurdamente difíciles y sacarle monedas a la persona promedio. Las Arcade a día de hoy son prácticamente inexistentes, a lo mucho algunos locales usaran maquinas clásicas y ya, sacar un nuevo MS para Arcades simplemente es una tontería, y un juego del mismo tipo simplemente no funciona en consolas o PC. Están obligados a innovar, por eso se viene Metal Slug Tactics para Steam (y no se que mas plataformas), se ve completamente diferente, pero la idea es genial, mantiene la esencia de Metal Slug mientras usa un gameplay diferente.

The boss's art design was nothing, which reminds me of the old Metal Slug style. I'm not saying it isn't good, but I feel that the modern art style doesn't really fit the game at all. There is something that makes classic Metal Slug so unique and really wild. Especially when the game made it suitable for kids. Also the Pharoh story and boss make this game far from being a Metal Slug.
