my Amanda the adventurer timeline. 1997: the show Amanda the adventure was created. 1999: a girl named Lauren disappeared. 2002: a girl was asked by a phycologist about the things she saw. 2005: the creator of the show disappeared. 2007: the events of Amanda the adventurer 1 happened. 2010: the events of Amanda the adventurer 2 happened.

I think the events of the games take place in the 2020s while the colored tapes and the show's release take place in the 2000s.

@@BraulioRivera-m1y I don't, it's just a theory. The colored tapes look like they have that 2000s filter, and when you check the books in the systems they have dates on who checked them all predating the 2020s. I think that Amanda the Adventurer 1 is in 2023 while 2 is either in 2024 or in 2023.

*FOR Y'ALL TO CATCH UP ON THE LORE* *(⚠️SPOILER WARNING⚠️):* 1. In this game we get the theory confirmed, that Amanda is indeed trapped. 2. The Rooster we sell, which she refers to as "he", is Sam Colton, as hinted at in the last game. The code, when you click the possum aka swiper instead of doing nothing, gives you a code of "V_e1_s9c_8". Everything before the "_8" is a tape's name in the game's files. We still have no clue what the 8 means as of right now. 3. The menu screen dice cipher just says "HE TRIED TO FIND ME" 4. Noone knows for sure yet, if Wooly is ever going to be back. Amanda vaguely remembers him, but doesn't really care that he's gone. Infact, she seems to find it a good thing. It could be though, that Wooly was under HamelN's control and is now officially for this whole game replaced with the possum. 5. Speaking about the possum, again, noone knows what this is. Not even Amanda. In the trailer, she asks "How did you even get in? Who are you? Get out of here!". That's yet to be figured out. 6. At the very beginning of the tape, we hear slight errors in Amanda's voice. Not glitches, but actual errors. She breathes very weirdly, which is a mistake that you often see ai do, when it's trying to mimic a voice. And in the last game, we saw in the tape that HamelN were training the machine to mimic Rebecca's voice. So yeah, that's not much tho. 7. When she in the trailer says "We shouldn't talk about them", it's most likely her parents she's talking about. Since, she mentioned them in the last game's tape 1 "In The Kitchen!". 8. The amount of coins you have if you click the possum early, is 4. She uses all coins then. If you let them fight and ignore them, she ends up with 6. Meaning, in the final game, it's confirmed that we'll be able to use 2 more coins for something potentially. Like, more routes. (Might edit later)

But when she said "We shouldn't talk about them", wasn't she talking about Hameln ?? And for your 6th proposition, I'm pretty sure it's not AI, Rebecca is actually trapped in the tv AS Amanda. Listen closely at "What's a family ?" tape at the last game. When you refuse to help the little kitten, she have a mental breakdown, and her voice became more her true self in her distress (Rebecca)
