I feel like Wooly is also a victim but I think he tries to bury their reality like how when they found those buried clothes and he immediately reburied them saying 'You know what's also fun? Burying things!' I think he tries to distract Amanda from their reality but all that does is make her angrier. I also think she mistrusts him because he tries to help the people she 'traps' sometimes.

You know, people are saying now that Wooly is the true villain in this, but the fact that when you mention the Meatman at 15:20, even he's taken aback and doesn't want to talk about him. Either because of what happened in the first ever demo, or because whoever the Meatman is, he's got to be true villain in all of this if both Amanda and Wooly fear him so much.

@@n.1ko so sorry for the essay. it’s also kinda heavily implied based on knowledge wooly has about how to manage Rebecca’s feelings in this state that he is the doctor as well. It explains the love hate relationship, bc he as a doctor did care about her enough to want to try and calm her and make her feel better through this. He was likely put into it himself to be there more closely, but due to their situation inside the world of the tapes he is limited in ways he can help These are things her father wouldn’t be able to know so wooly absolutely cannot be Sam either. Biggest direct clue would be voice acting. I think it’s the same voice. Ifs not guaranteed but it only solidifies it further. She very much loves her father through all of this, despite her also feeling like he’s to blame for what happened. It’s quite an interesting dynamic for the two main characters.

Wooly is absolutely shocked that it was the response, but that hand gesture is the “shut up why would you say this. Stop” He knows what causes her bad reactions and what triggers her and how to calm her. All things that the doctor directly addressed in the secret tape. The voice actor sounds eerily similar to wooly as well. Chances are wooly is the meatman. Rebecca is either aware that he is the doctor, or isn’t, but chances are given how she has a love hate relationship with him, it is very likely to be the case. Like yes, she hates him, but yes, he helps at times when no one else is around.

So basically in the first game Amanda manipulated the situation so that Wooly couldn't talk, and basically got rid of him, forced him out, maybe because Amanda was powerful enough to push people out, the surgery scene with Wooly was him undergoing the demon ritual to give Wooly a chance to go up against Amanda should he need to. As he just shows back up again and Amanda looks annoyed. Or he could have been brought back to find out who Amanda has been trying to talk to. They found out she's been reaching out to people and systematically taking them out of the picture. David, that other lady who said "if they're coming for me they're coming for me" Joanne, Kate, Sam.....now they know about Riley because Amanda called her out by name in the bedtime tape and we got her a night light. We need to find those other people in those tapes. Who's still alive to help Riley

She could hurt Wooly and he'd end up fine, much to her dismay, she stabbed him as you said, broke his leg, attacked him on a surgery table, she did everything she could to force Wooly out, I think she knows he's one of the people keeping her here. She even tried to render him speechless and leave him with the other animals when she took his voice and autonomy away. It's a cartoon world after all. No one really dies

This definitely disproves the Wooly is Sam, and Wooly is controlling Amada theories. Her reaction to "Sam" when put in the "who do you trust" box, she looked so sad. Compare that to when you say "Wooly" to who you're afraid of, she says "really? Look at him." like she thinks hes pathetic. So I think she loved her dad and does miss him, but is always angry at Wooly. Sure his demon is bigger than hers, but as we saw in the game they're separated entities, so in the TV Amanda has more control over Wooly and isn't afraid of him, but his beast is probably more in charge of hers in the real world.

I don't think Wooly is entirely evil, but if he was made to keep Amanda on script and placated by and for Hameln and get her to forget her tragic past, I can see how Amanda used to see him as a friend only to realize he's using her or manipulating/lying to her, causing her to want to harm him or not trust him anymore. I don't think he's entirely, if at all, in control of (spoiler) the demon we see in the true ending, just like amanda isn't always in control of her demon, or her demon doesn't always seem to act only in her interests. They seem to be apart from each other with some form of control. Also, every time Amanda acknowleges the demonic entity, Wooly's eyes go black or he leaves the scene, so how much is he really aware of outside of the screen?

The apple pie is for just letting the tape play out while the meat pie is if you turn on the stove when the picture appears with the pause button. That being said Amanda does not specify herself what pie the player made. It could be the meat pie or the apple pie. Who knows? That rat dying is probably just there and was killed by the trap due to them posing health risks but we don't know that for certain and generally there's a lot unknown about this scene.
