11:21 A little comment on your analysis of R437 68R and R441 100R. The 68R in series with the grid of the output tube is just a grid stopper. The grid itself is high impedance (typ. 470k in circuit as per datasheet) and the grid capacitance is low (as per datasheet 0,8pF). A rise in R437 will not substantially reduce drive as it hardly sees any current flow alas faces no voltage drop across it. However R441 100R feeding the screen grid (not supressor grid as you called it) sees a substantial current draw (around 10mA) and a rise in resistance of R441 from 100R to 175R will cause a higher drop on the screen voltage for a given screen current.

You're right of course. Grid is high impedance. Not sure why I thought that could be an issue back then.

If you mean the early porthole sets, yes. They are polarized and bigger.

I actually just checked on ebay and the seller The Twisted Rose Mercantile is selling TV power cords for only 4 bucks! They're the ones without the ear for the rivets though, just thought I'd let people know here!

Yes, don't forget to tighten down that IF transformer, looks like sound discriminator coil?

is it right that you have made this video 7 years ago, if so too late to tighten down that IF transformer 🤣
